I really want to brew up aya, I totally want to get the Peru chacruna and caapi. I read in the supplies section of nexus a disturbing story of a person who said the feds showed up at his door for importing plant materials.javascript:insertsmiley('%20','/forum/images/emoticons/icon_eek.gif' I didn't follow up on his post to see what happened, but I am now very paranoid about mailing from outside usa sources. And even concerned about those who send from within usa.

Can we believe them when they say they send from within usa? I've checked with 2 sources, maya and dna and both send from outside usa.

Does anyone have advise?

I just saw the post I mention above and it's in NZ. Do we have to worry in usa?

I recently received a smallish amount of chacruna (1 kg) from Peru, it was inspected by US customs and came through fine, I also don't think there should be any problems with caapi.

I would however be wary of ordering large amounts (multiple kilos) and ordering things that seem to be getting stopped like cactus chips or mimosa bark from outside the US.

There is no need to worry about ordering within the borders.
