I'm a beginner on this site and was just wondering from the mods and high ranking members what kind of posts you like to see coming from the newbies? I feel like most of my questions have been answered by the FAQ for the most part. I would rant about philosophy but that seems to annoy people.

Tecnique posts&guides are of outstanding quality and set the backbone of the website and the reason I eventually bumped into it. Other than that, indeed experiences: besides the interest of individual reports, I especially enjoy the general approach, emphasizing the idea of Hyperspace and its beings as objective and not subjective, which is [pardon the simplification: think of it as yin as opposed to yang if the metaphor fits you more] so refreshingly junghian as opposed to the fundamentally freudian approach so often found in psychonauts (still remaining non-dualist, eh ^_^).

My favorites include...
Experience reports that are well written and offer something creative.
Clear requests/questions asked after a bit of research has been done.
Threads which develop nicely - folks sharing and learning, whether on the technical side or otherwise...
Threads which focus on the ideas, not the personal/personalities of those involved.
Instead of rants, folks share specific ideas.
Best,
L

ps - IMO, the mods here are great, in all their diversity.

Here is an exemplary first rue/mimosa report. Excellent, thorough, considerate, humble, encouraging, hopeful.

i enjoy others insights on the world wheather its fact, or philisopical and especially fiction under the cercumstances that we keep it to a certain level for example not to flood the forums with random theories just to get a kick out of what others think. With all that said i have alot of crazy ideas and when they start driving me mad i come here to get some clarity and had much success with helpfullness and others experiences or insight.

I've started a couple of philisophical threads myself and how knows maybe theres more people out there maybe are looking for the same thing. Go head and post the worst that could happen is no body replies in which any case that very experience should show you what this community is or isn't into.
Existence is an illusion of an experience with states of minds and functions of memory to entice you that it is in fact real.

Contribute whatever you feel adds to the site and write about whatever topics interest you! I personally like to see some sarcasm and humour, this place takes itself pretty seriously a lot of the time! Oh, and don't brown nose the mods too much Wink

There is no consensus on this. It is an interesting question which yields thoughtful exchanges, but you will find quite an articulate skepticism regarding the objective reality of hyperspace represented here.
I recommend this discussion of the real...

I just browsed over that thread about reality a little and it looked very interesting. Thank you

I like anything that is personally expressive.

When I first joined the nexus it was very active on the extraction front. Food grade mescaline, bufotenine and FASA are very fond memories. But now I love seeing something different that comes from a point of personal expression.

I want to know you guys Smile

Interesting, thank you. I still have to read SO many threads. Still I had perceived that feel, or at least a tendency towards the possibility of objectivity, which in other similar abodes is often laughed at or simply excluded.

You're welcome! Yes, the Nexus is a rich place...
My experience is that Nexians are respectful in their discourse and very little is excluded, provided one posts in the appropriate place and is willing to support one's ideas while maintaining an open attitude.
Happy hunting,
L

I just read through a bunch of your posts and I think you're doing just fine. Keep it real and express yourself, and you'll fit in here very nicely.

Good luck with your extraction, by the way. It sounds like you've done all your homework. I look forward to following your next few weeks. You've got NO idea what's coming...

Please rant! Some of us (such as myself) find posts of the philosophical type to be most interesting. Isnโ€™t that really what itโ€™s all about? DMT very strongly brings up questions about what is real, what it means for something to be real, how our perceptions relate to reality, what can we prove about existence and what canโ€™t we prove, what is the nature of existence, what is consciousness, on and on.

So please feel free to post whatever you feel is important!
