I'm mostly referencing this thread:
https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=3261

Amor_Fati said that his first run of the extraction was likely defatting the MHRB, and the second run was much more pure. Would the first run still contain a suitable amount of DMT? And would it be suitable to toss it into some orange juice or coke for conversion to a more absorb-able salt in order to use in pharmahuasca?
That is, provided the plastic bits weren't used with the acetone like they were in that extraction, to avoid any serious impurities.

Now that I think about it though, and correct me if I'm wrong, I was under the impression that MHRB didn't require defatting? Now I'm just confused, can anyone help me out with this?
I would really prefer to use safer household chemicals for my extraction, plus I'm really interested in the Drytech extraction method, and there isn't much information on it floating around here, and I'd like to see this method further pursued.

Thanks!
I am seriously making all of this stuff up. No, really.

acetone used like this will pull color, oils, etc. it will need cleanup on one end or the other. a defatting step seems like a waste of solvent.
under a normal stb or a/b, defatting is not needed

if u want to use a drytek or limetek, then check Q21 or armor fati's teks that are "food safe" teks.
instead of sodium carbonate and acetone, they will use lime (calcium hydroxide) and d-limonene.
