Ok so SWIM has 3 Grams of freebase spice to play with along with the following.

75 grams of shredded white caapi vine
75 grams of shredded yellow caapi vine
100 grams of Caapi leaf
100 grams of Chaliponga
100 Grams of Mullein

I have had 30 grams of yellow vine sat in a jar of IPA for a month now so am getting to that point of actually making some mixes.

I was also thinking of putting 30 grams of Caapi leaf into IPA for a few weeks. what are peoples experiences of the difference between the vine and the leaf? I have heard the vine can be more cloudy?

Quote:
I have always had wonderful experiences with Caap leaf, but I tried the vine extract one and had a very LONG experience with HORRENDOUS body load--cold, tight chest, lying on the floor in catatonic positions, and general panic. I got the sincere message from Mama to boil her bark, not to burn it.

Because the extracts can last 2-3 hours, there is no quick way to abort a journey gone south.

Also, the taste is terrible. If it tastes terrible, it should tip you off that it's not meant to be smoked, RIGHT AWAY.

Still a little nervous about residual stuff being in my pipe.

ms_manic_minxx posted this... anyone else felt this?

In general, those who have experience with changa blends how would you go about using this amount of spice with these herbs.

Thanks!

Id make use of that vine IPA. Use 1/3 of the IPA and make 2 blends, one caapi leaf and one chali leaf, 1:1 ratio using 500mg spice and 500mg leaf. Test the two out and see how you like what each has to offer.

While testing out this changa get the next betch going, the caapi leaf can be used for more saturated ipa, same goes for the chali leaf. I have 3 jugs of IPA each just soaking away(chali, caapi leaf, vine), when I wanna make some changa I just take some of the IPA from whichever jug and use that. Every now and then il top up the jugs with some fresh leaf and ipa. This way I have my never ending supply of xxX IPA that I use.

Personaly I prefer to use 10x leaf or 10x chali.

Just remember to start with small batches, to test the waters so to speak. If you dont like what you are smoking atleast you wont be throwing out a gram of DMT. 1 gram changa goes a long way, most of the timeSmile

Enjoy!

Cheers for that reply gammagore, it was exactly what I was looking for.

As you keep topping it up, I'm guessing you all the old stuff gets left in. Do you have a method for measuring out the infused ipa to the changa? Or just free hand by eye?

In terms of the caapi leaf and chali leaf, they are whole. What's the best way you have found to refine it into a smokable size, scissors seem like a long way round.I presume you infuse it onto the cut up leaf.

Apologies for the rookie questions but I'm pretty excited about changa and wanna get it right!
