I have had maybe 5 or 6 experiences so far smoking 20-30mg in a GVG with a normal lighter, all lovely experiences with very intense visuals. Today i tried 20mg with a torch lighter very successfully! Me and a friend had 2 hits each at 20mg and both had strong experiences but definitely sub breakthrough, neither of us have the greatest smoking technique yet so there was definitely some build up in the bowl amongst the mullien. My friend left and i loaded another 20mg and lit up, i remember putting the pipe down and thats almost it!!! I remember as it was wearing off i was the most confused i have ever been in my entire life (ive been in some pretty confused states), i was questioning everything, i wasn't sure where i was, why i was feeling the way i was, what had happened even who i was! I had no recollection of smoking anything and was quite scared but deeply happy. I didnt experience any entities or any memorable visuals like the tunnels or other things i have read about. I dont know if i broke through but i do know it was without a doubt the most amazing thing i have ever experienced and i feel humbled and honored to have had the experience! I look forward to my next adventure!!!!! Monty P is a fictional character i use to make my life seem more interesting than it is, therefore all of these posts are fictional. Strange isn't it... Don't worry about 'breaking through' its just an idea in my opinion.

This is quite possible, i literally cant remember anything past the first onset with a rising hum/vibration then coming back trying to make sense of the situation i was in. In my experience that means you possibly took too much, if i lose consciousness of the experience i take that to mean i took too much, because i can go just as high & remember it with a slightly lower dose

i guess so, i didnt look at it that way. I only loaded 20mg but my actual dose is pretty unknown as there was definitely some left over from previous attempts. Next time i will start with a clean bowl and go from 20mg again with the ARC. I have some caapi here too but i think i will leave that for a while Monty P is a fictional character i use to make my life seem more interesting than it is, therefore all of these posts are fictional. as it has been said, no need to worry about classifying it as breakthrough or not..
Its possible indeed that not remembering is a sign of too strong dose, or its also just a normal aspect of dmt experience for some people at some points.. Trying a small dose before and then a larger dose can help getting one accustomed to the feelings first and then going for the plunge and losing less time being impressed but already paying attention.
Also using harmalas, orally, sublingually or vapped, can help remembering.
If you smoke weed, try not to smoke weed the same day (or ideally stay a few days without smoking it)
Lastly, you can try vapping weed after taking mushrooms if thats available for you, since the mushroom platform can really help with making the whole experiecne easier to digest (and incredibly beautiful)
Good luck!

hey now monty, It's possible to vape more than enough and perhaps that's what happened to cause some confusion and/or fear. New experiences can take time to process and it's OK to take a break for any reason including just sorting things out a bit. I think everyone knows about fear. No need to push... endlessness wrote: Also using harmalas, orally, sublingually or vapped, can help remembering.
Endlessness, can you add any more to this? SWIM has gone past the amnesia edge before and generally struggles to take it all back even at modest dose. There can be so much going on (including lots of elusive context that doesn't map too well to normal life) any help remembering it all would be good. TIA

Smoking a bit of weed after coming back from Dmt can help me remember and make sense of the experience. You can also use the technique where you use a voice recorder to record your thoughts immediately after the experience. Too bad you can't record anything else Expect nothing, Receive everything. I think I was making the point in a thread earlier today that I think music can help with the memory issue to a great extent because if your brain can pair up memory of a song or part of a song with an image that you see, even though that image may be so abstract, it is all the easier to retrieve because you have a more familiar stimulus associated with it. "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein
"The Mighty One appears, the horizon shines. Atum appears on the smell of his censing, the Sunshine- god has risen in the sky, the Mansion of the pyramidion is in joy and all its inmates are assembled, a voice calls out within the shrine, shouting reverberates around the Netherworld." - Egyptian Book of the Dead
"Man fears time, but time fears the Pyramids" - 9th century Arab proverb

Definitely. Every time I listen to Nine Inch Nails, im reminded of MDMA enough to even feel the roll. I even think some music subconsciously reminds me of experiences long ago Expect nothing, Receive everything. I've heard many times on this forum that " You will know, when you break through. Well, in my experience you don't always know. But, you can tell when you go through the chrysanthemum and you realize you can sense hyperspace all around your body, as apposed to "seeing" through your eyelids. But a real breakthrough is more emotional and spiritual. My best trips were my comfortable ones. Those ones where I have just enough magic for me to relax and completely let myself go. I believe these are the real breakthroughs, not because of the dose. But but because you can do deep enough to have linear, and themed trip. You will learn things about the universe and yourself, as opposed to the random images and racing mind. BTW, I noticed that DMT is like 'taking the plunge'. You may feel anxious before, but after you jump, you realize you want to do it again. I can't comment on changa (YET), but I also find taking a dose <=10mg before the full dose, will ease anxiety and calm down the 'blast off'. All Posts are fiction and only exist to entertain

Thanks for all the tips/advice! Especially endlessness, it's your step by step guide of how you use your arc that got me there I haven't smoked weed for a few years now, don't like it anymore. I am keen to try some Harmalas but need to do some research first. I'm interested in trying changa but still slightly wary due to the maoi aspect, I have searched for information but struggled to find a satisfactory answer to my question. Is it a concern when vaping small doses? Should one take note of their diet before and after dosing?
