calcium hydroxide works well in a dry/limetek because it is fairly insoluble in water. also an advantage is that it is far safer to work with, and adding excess is not a problem. q1 has a tek using calcium hydroxide and naptha or limonene.

I think it will work. There could be a problem with too dry bark absorbing your naptha and not giving it back. I only tried something similar once and ended up converting to a wet tek half way through because I was running out of solvent. It may end up being easier than a normal STB because there won't be any layers to separate.

ok i downloaded 2 pdf,one safety sheet and other tecnical sheet,in both there's written :it contains calcium hydroxyde and 4% max of caco3 so i assume it's just hydrated lime and water, now the problem is,,,how much of it i must use istead of dry powdered lime?

as far as my lime is already moist,i think i'll soak bark at ratio 3:5 with vinegar without add some water couse after it if i add lime it will become too moist..anyproblem about it? i'm doing funfest white dmt from q21q21 thanks

is ok to leave the mix of mimosa and lime to get dry and than powderize it before wash with naphtha?
