Hey guys, I live in Sydney Australia, and have spent the last few days bush walking in an attempt to find some acacias for an extraction. I have only found one tree that I know is an acacia, but I am just not sure what kind it is. I have been comparing on worldwidewattle.com and various other sites, but I just cannot come to a conclusion as many of them are too similar. I have taken a few pictures for you, and would be forever grateful if you could point me in the right direction. Looks like an Acacia nilotica to my eyes. Please report back if you ever do any extraction on this tree. Disclaimer: All of these posts are of a fictitious nature only. I think its nilotica, although i dont think your gonna get a lot of spice. I'm from Australia and have a lot of friends that like spicy trees but i dont know any one who uses this tree. one guy on the net reckons the leaves have spice in them but he hasn't got any percentages there. Do a bitta research look for Obtusifolia if your in Aust its not hard and you'll have spice coming out your ears.

It is one of the bi-pinnate wattles... which are quite hard to ID. DMT has been found in the bi-pinnate wattles, but it tends to be kind of hit or miss. You are better off looking for obtusifolia around Sydney.
