a standard dose of smoked dmt is stronger than a standard dose of ayahuasca in the sense of visual intensity

with smoked dmt, all the visuals are very very fast, and they end much quicker too.. with a bigger dose of ayahuasca or with a big dose of oral freebase dmt+maoi, one can get to near the same intensity of smoked visuals, but with all a bit slower, and lasting longer, which means you can understand/interact more with it

the point is, even if visuals is a big part, the experience is way more than only visuals..

for me smoking dmt is getting shot up by a cannon into the psychedelic dimension, and then quickly gravity pulling me back in.. On the way I see amazing landscapes objects and beings, but its just too fast to make much sense of it or come back with a specific lesson. It´s more a reminder of how reality is much more than what we consider. With ayahuasca, I walk up the mountain to see the view of the other dimension, so on the way I have time to notice my own weaknesses, stop at particular points of the way and investigate more, etc.. So I end up bringing much more practical teachings, things to do when back in ´normal´ life, but given the right dosage set and setting, also a lot of visuals, fractals, beings operating me and what not.

So.. DMT in general more and faster visuals that end quick
ayahuasca not so much visuals, more learning, lasts longer

DMT is easier to be abused imo because anybody can get shot up a cannon, but with ayahuasca not so much, because those who cant climb the mountain will suffer and stop in the middle of the way.

put it this way to drink enough ayahuasca to see as much as you do from smoking DMT one should be very prepared for along intense experience. SWIM only drank aya once and did not take a high dose because the body effect was enough to deal with. but then again SWIM feels that the visual aspect although beautiful is not the most important part of the trip.

SWIM has taken smoked freebase dmt but has never tried aya. How easy is it to get used to the trip (Because it is a bit bloody intense) compared to say, mushrooms?

Isn't it too difficult to do ... ANYTHING? DMT really can make you see some insane things. (Eighteen fingers and a keyboard with 2436098 keys etc.)

ive always found aya to be beautiful and not too much of a load, actually in my opinion it is much easier to handle than psilo mushies

if you do a high dose, the purge is pretty strong though but good in a strange sort of way

SWIM uses pure harmine and pure DMT citrate orally and truly loves the experience more than vaporized DMT. It's far more of a rewarding experience to SWIM. For SWIM, vaporized DMT is too short and mostly just a bunch of visuals, and it really lacks substance. Its fun, but that's about it. For SWIM to really enjoy DMT he needs to use it as snuff or orally with harmine. Either way, the trip is more meaningful to SWIM.

Hmm, my lungs aren't quite to the point where I can really be shot out of a cannon, so although they can reach black-out intensity at around 70mg, they're usually almost as easy to take in as aya. It's quite a bit more compressed than aya, but maybe accustomed enough to the experience to take it in in much the same way. Harmala's it's own sort of beast and put's one in a somewhat more advantaged state to make the experience far less alien; it eases one into the experience and alters the content of the visions though they have similar aesthetic qualities. I the most bland terms DMT is to Aya, spiritually, as Coke is to E, socially, considering that coke has treated me with the utmost hospitality.
