SWIM followed BLAB. Took the jar out of the fridge today, poured off through a filter, and got a bunch of crystals. Weighed them, ended up with 9 grams, didn't make sense as SWIM only had 5 g of fumarate. Realized that the excess was sodium carbonate, but didn't know how to separate the freebase and sodium carbonate. Ended up warming up the solution that was poured off, since SWIM still had it and dissolving all the crystals back in it and put in freezer. Instead of crystals forming though, ended up with a goo, SWIM doesn't know what to do with it or if it's even right, seems like there isn't really enough of it either. Did SWIM just completely screw up by redissolving freebase and sodium carbonate crystals in the poured off solution, or is there a workaround?

how did you redissolve, just warming the water? was there acid added?

dont worry nothing is lost if you didnt throw away. By the way what conversion did you do, the slow water conversion method or the fast one or?

if the liquid is with high pH (basic) and its not precipitating in the fridge, you could re-extract with limo, salt again and repeat process properly. But explan better what you did please

SWIM initially dissolved his fumurates and mixed with sodium carbonate solution and then did the slow precipitation in the fridge for 3 days. SWIM poured this solution through a coffee filter into another jar. For the redissolving, SWIM just warmed up that same poured off solution and dissolved the crystals in there, and then put it in the freezer for the :10 tek. Had trouble with the first attempt, so SWIM microwaved it all and then put in the freezer again.
