I'm very curious at your results using another substance to salt it.
From what I read around internet using a 10 drops of 10% HCL per 200ML water mixing with 600ML of D-limo (based on 200grams cactus) will result in a nice powdery almost clean end product. This is what I'm going to try next.

About the Limo, I also used a >90% d-limone orange terpene. It did work out for me but I got goo too.

It would be great if people mention the CAS number of the terpene used. In that way we can find out if there are different results for several variants of D-limonene.
