ok,so tonight I scraped up the last of my dmt from the freezer. Things went wrong though. As the glass jar started to condensate it got water all in my crystals. I tried to dry them off as best I could, then added it to my other crystals i already had in a glass vial. Now i add it to the vial, its a bit watery, and then everythin including my white crystals already in the vial turn into yellow mush. So i scrape it all up and try to get it gathered and dried. Some got on my fingers, and i managed to touch my lips, and when I did, instant painfull burning, then it got on my tounge and burned my tounge. And its still burnign and tingling, and my lips are numb. What is happening? Im now scared to smoke my spice because wtf? this isnt normal is it?

Not sure if FB spice will burn, but maybe there was some lye in your spice. rinse your mouth with vinegar, see if that helps.....

I thought that too, so i got some white vinegar, and it only made the burn on my lips worse.

Its almost gone now though, just still slight tingling and numbness.

I just wanna know is my spice safe to smoke?

it sounds like a contamination of some sort..most prolly lye.
b4 smoking your spice, just do a sodium carbonate wash on it. if u wanna further purify it, then re-x will help. that should eliminate the contamination.

and if there was lye in my spice wouldnt it have burned my fingers when i touched it? Ehhhhh I dunnno, this is so sad.

So I just put some on my tongue and there was some numbness, I didnt put much on.... but no burning.... If I were you id clean it up, even if its not contaminated, never good blasting off with thoughts of smoking lye in the back of your mind.

Yea id always rather be safe than sorry. And on my tounge it didnt burn long but my lips were on fire lol.


and also, on a side note from the burning, i hear people say that dmt smells like plastic or chemicals, but on all my x-tracts, it actually has a earthy smell and flowery, reminds me almost of opium.

I let my spice dry back out and now its white a crystaly again, i dont get it?

Freebase will always burn when it comes into contact with your mouth, tongue or any mucus membrane. I really wouldnt sweat it, honestly.

well it doesnt burn going down the windpipe and kinda tastes like bbq chips :]

ok another problem, i decided to smoke it, so i loaded it up in my pipe, and started toking away. Toke after toke after toke after toke, and i dont even feel slight side effects. How coul this happeen???

The actual dmt, imo, smells like that. Almost like the MHRB that I've extracted it from.
However, after burning it. It smells like chemicals.
