What tools/instruments do you use to get your spice from the storage vial/container into your smoking vessel?

When I was using smaller containers, I used my really thin volkswagen key.

I use wider mouth plastic containers now that allow me to use a teaspoon to collect the spice.

What do you use?

I found a great wax sculpting tool set that had all kinds of perfect sized spatulas, spoons, picks, etc. Sort of like what they have here: http://www.sculpturedepo...ax-tools/steel-tools.htm

These worked great for spooning crystals into a GVG, as well as for all sorts of other extraction/chemistry projects.

I gave up on the straight freebase, though -- changa or enhanced leaf is so much easier to work with, especially for a second hit with one foot still in the realm...

I use a small jeweler's spoon. It holds 20-30mg depending on the density of the spice. Its an easy way to measure without a scale. About one and a half spoonfuls is perfect in my GVG.
Its the MeICNU

I am only someone's imaginary Smelf posting from hyperspace.

I use a utility knife kit (kinda like an exacto knife i think) it has several different shaped knife tips that you can screw into one of three different handles, the butt end of the handles is great for mashing crystals and mashing caapi while making changa, and the tips are great because I can use one to scrape out of my extraction vessels, then throw it away so it doesnt start to chip, and a few of the different shapes are better for scraping different parts of the containers etc... best thing, it costs like 4 dollars at the hardware store for a whole new kit with 3 handles and 20ish blades.

SWIM manually crystallizes to get a clay-like product, so he cuts off a slice with a razor blade and can load it by hand, sticking it to the tip of his finger. He used to make fluffy crystals that he would load with a lab spatula and have to compress down because it was so voluminous, but his slices are much more dense and fit readily into his choice smoking devices, which happen to be quite small.

Any type of freebase can be formed into such a solid simply by adding a few drops of water water or a minute amount of any solvent and working the resulting goo around 'til it solidifies. SWIM prefers not to work with sticky powdery substances if he can help it.

In the image below, SWIM simply evaped acetone with a fan and worked around the oily product 'til it solidified. This product can easily be scraped up with a razor blade then rolled up by hand, as it's quite dense and malleable.

And this is what it looks like rolled up:
