My question is simple: where to find "Pickling Lime" in France, or at least in Europe (UK maybe ?) ?

This is related to Q21Q21's Tek 2.

Your post is very old. But I will reply nonetheless because I had a similar question. You can get it from ebay if you search for calcium hydroxide. They also have the stuff in aquarium supply stores, there it is called kalkwasser powder (or translate 'calcium water powder' to your language).

Still more expensive then pickling lime though
