Hello everyone, I'll keep this short and sweet.
In a nutshell, I'm writing a dissertation on Endogenous dimethyltryptamine and the origins of religion. Because the examiner marking my paper will probably have never taken DMT, I need to be able to explain the places psychonauts visit. I figure visionary art is my best bet, as a 'picture says a thousand words'
This is where you guys come in. As I have never taken DMT, I can't say whether a piece of art is a decent depiction of DMT space. So can you recommend artists, or even your own artwork which you feel provides a close depiction of hyperspace and other dimensions?
If you wish to recommend your own art, I will need the OK to use it within my paper. Full credit will be given, you will be fully referenced and also thanked in the acknowledgements.
Not all pictures can be used obviously, but those that work well alongside my paper will be.
So far, I have already contacted
Carey Thompson, who has given me the OK, I am still waiting to hear back from
Luke Brown,
Mark Henson,
Eyeball32000 and
Mars-1.
I have had a good look at the work of Alex Grey, but he has quite strict regulations in regards to copyright. I need to read through his terms and conditions to see if his work can be used in papers.
Thanks for your time
Much love,
Sally xx
