After having issues with my smoking tek over the last few weeks and trying to find the best way for me to smoke... I saw a post by OpeningPandoras Box on here about constructing 'The Key'. I built this at the weekend it cost me about £4 in total and has so far been the best way I have EVER smoked DMT!! After finding the parts (mine are slightly different to those shown on the original post) it was really easy to make and took about 10 mins! I first used The Key with about 20mg of freebase and got an awesome trip! Also after opening the device there was not a single trace of any DMT left over - the pipe vaporised the DMT perfectlyu and it was the smoothest toke I have had. I continued to use the pipe with friends for the rest of the night and the results we had using much smaller quantities of DMT were much stronger and better than any previous tek I have used. We were also able to take the hits in one toke whereas before it may have been in two. I just wanted to say thanks to OPB for the heads up and also give anyone else who is looking for a better smoking tek the heads up about 'The Key'... D

It would be a good idea to post a link to the original topic.

yeah that is a really nice homemade piece, thanks for sharing. I think I'm going to make a variation of that, I've been using a few different things lately, even a wooden vaporgenie and I'm not completely satisfied with any of them for my DMT experience. I think I will try to make a variation of this "key". *The above text represents a fictional alter ego, none of it is based on the experiences of a real person.*

I used The Key for my first spice experience earlier on today. It works very well with a torch lighter. Real easy to make, and real hard to fuck up. All posts and or comments made by the one known as "Cabyz" are merely delusions of a madman. Nothing he posts is of relevance to anything in the real world, and any persons he may refer to, including himself, are all figments of his imagination, and do not exist. Cabyz does not condone of these individuals actions either. There's more to life than meets the eye. Set yourself free from your physical body, and explore the depths of your MIND

I havent been around much but its good to hear you guys found it useful. Im reuploading the images to the original instructions right now. It works on the same principles as both, providing a removable heat sink to protect from the naked flame, allowing the hot air to pass through and vaporize by convection. Note that ceramic fiber is optional and that scrubpad in place of screens may work just as well.

Hell yeah for the re-upload! I'm surprised this wasn't more popular... SWIM personally has found the key V1 to be the best way for SWIM to enjoy both spice and changa. SWIM prefers the key to the machine even for pure spice when paired with a long enough tube to cool the smoke. SWIM thanks OPB for re-uploading the pictures of V2 and plans on making one shortly. Someone needs to make a wiki page for this! Spread the word! The Key is.. well... the key to smoking DMT! May you find the Light... and bring some back.

I am in UK and have looked in 5 different hardware shops and can't find the parts for this device, they only seem to have PVC connectors. Does anyone have any idea where abouts I can get these parts from? I cant even find them on hardware internet shops and garden centres, I feel pretty useless.
Anyone got links for UK Hardware Online Stores? Or UK-relevant Part Numbers?

Anyone got links for UK Hardware Online Stores? Or UK-relevant Part Numbers? If the hardware stores near you dont carry brass fittings then: 1. There is something wrong with the hardware stores in your area. These pieces literally are "hardware" 2. You might have to contact a local building contractor to get the pieces and just make up a different reason for needing them.
