I know I can smoke the recrystallized spice in the GVG, but there also appears to be a bunch of very dark fluid building up in the bottom of the GVG, and I was wondering if it's supposed to vaporize, and if so, should I be vaping it in the first place?

I had some of that when I first started using my GVG. If I am correct the black color is residue from the organic matter you are vaping with your spice, and the liquid probably condensation? I was told it comes from over cooking or burning the caapi leaf or whatever herb you are using as an infusion medium. The idea is heating it enough to get the actives out but not burning it.

This is my best guess without knowing what you put in the GVG. I have experienced that also in the past. I dont get it as much any more.

Try not to over heat your changa?

I'm not using changa, it's freebase DMT

I use a glass vape pipe too (not vaporgenie unfortunately!) with just DMT (no herb) but i also get dark dark brown residue after smoking, I'm pretty sure it is the impurities and organic matter left over... sometime if you blast it you can get a small hit... :-)

If you’re using a GVG with freebase (no leaves or ash) and you’re getting dark residue, then something is wrong. All I get in my GVG is snow-white crystal condensation.

Either your DMT isn’t very pure or you’re overheating it (not easy to do with a GVG).

Either way, I’d advise you just clean the GVG more often. I clean mine every other use.

last night i cleaned my darkened GVG with acetone and then evapped it to get some more very dark brown GOO - almost black.
After evaping acetone, this morning i loaded my GVG and off i went Very happy
It was def. as pleasant as freebase DMT, more like jungle.
