I want to try aya. I'm very eager to be healed but very nervous at the same time. Is this apprehension normal? I've read that the first couple hours can be frightfull, but wonderful afterwards, and since i've realized i am a selfish worldly person i know it's going to be hard to let go of my ego(is this my ego trying to tell me no?). I think reading up on aya has made me more apprehensive than i would be normally. is there any advise anybody can give before embarking on this journey? I would not try this without an experienced sitter. One more thing...The purge. I have Crohns disease, so am i gonna purge from both ends?

thank you,

Apprehension is good I believe, there is nothing wrong with having respect, in fact it is probably a better attitude.

I have a similar feeling to you, I have not tried aya yet, however have had bottles of aya on my shelf for a good 2 weeks now. However I just can't seem to get the courage when I have the time. However, due to recent events, I have actively chosen to try it next time I have a spare day.

I understand what you mean about reading up about aya, some of the reports on erowid seem a little extreme to say the least. I am confortable with smoked spice (well, as comfortable as one can be :shockSmile, but aya seems to be in a league of it's own.

Please post experiences if you take the plunge ... Shocked
