SWIM, has a very different looking 2nd extraction. He used this method from this stie
to a T. not one thing was different than suggested on the stie.

The first yeild was impressive in volume, slightly questionable in smell.

after the first extraction...
SWIM, returned the naptha to sit in the jar with the bark/h2o/lye mix for another 24 hours. at this point the naptha was much darker in color. (the first extraction's naptha was a pale yellow color, 2ndly over night he suspected the naptha had seperated completely). so he continued as instructed, froze the naptha over night, and upon scraping the jar his yeild was almost the same color as the powered bark he used.

should he wash the spice?
Does anyone know why this coloring might have happened?
Will it get him into hyperspace?
