Hi guys. SWIM was wondering about the best method for storing changa.
He was thinking about a little ziplock bag in the fridge, since here is quite hot now in summer, but maybe you have some tips.
He has to store for no more than 2 months, I think (that's the time for using 3 gr of 1:1 changa, for him. Often more time, too).

Thanks guys,

Arimane. Who's really falling in love, for the nexus.
Bad, bad english

Storing in the fridge in a closed container works perfect for me and it can definitely be kept for more than 2 months

Freezing is always best swIMHO... though Ozzy freinds in the know have pointed out that change once infused is immortal... and will last for years no matter how you store it.

I store mine in small glass bottles/vial's. Ive had blends last for months, im still to have a blend go bad. It doent get too hot/humid here so no need for me to put it in the fridge, but that will be fine if its hot by you.

Would it not oxidize by storing it?

Whenever, and I mean WHENEVER I melt DMT in my lightbulb and smoke it later (a few hours) as soon as I start relighting it, it turns brown/black because it oxidized.

the only way it wont oxidize is if its stored in inert atmosphere like nitrogen otherwise yes it will oxidize and that certainly takes some time
even year old molecules still kick the human asses

You could always store it as DMT fumarate, this will last a looong time.

Although ive had spice in an amber vial in the freeze for prolly 8 months or so, still as good as when extractedSmile

That’s probably not oxidation, but rather pyrolysis. In effect, you’ve “toasted” your spice. Very easy to do in a lightbulb.

can anyone verify this? With the impending MHRB ban looking likely, I got plent of bark in. I wont have the opportunity to extract in the future, so made a lifetimes worth of changa. (I smoke rarely)

The Changa is stored in an airtight vial, will this last indefinately (or certainly a few years)? If in a few years time I have oxidised DMT changa, how can I reverse the process?

about 4 months ago i packed a big bowl of changa for a friend, he took about 1/4 to 1/3 of it and i put the pipe in a drawer, completely forgot about it until last week. Smoked it.....very powerful! So i would lean toward changa being indestructablePleased
