so this was a strange experiment...i tried salting out some dmt with some FASI from dlimo that i had pull off of some basified phalaris juice...but the crystals that formed never wanted to stick to the bottom and just sorta floated around...so i added some water to turn it sorta into a FASW....this made the ISO that i had put in there sorta mix with the water..

so to get rid of the iso i just left the container open to vent for awhile..and i forgot about it..but when i checked it weeks later...i found that there were crystals growing in the water!...now my first thought was that this was just fumaric acid...but i saved them anyway...i removed the water from the dlimo..and then poured the dlimo off the crystals and then left the rest of the dlimo evaporate off over the course of a few days..and here is a picture of those crystals

so i tried a rough melting point test and it started to melt at 370F...then vaporized away at around 480F

im gonna test fumaric acid and some mimosa extracted dmt fumarate to see the difference...this should be a good way to figure it out..

also it smells like my phalaris extracts...definitely indole..but different than spice..almost sweeter...and not as delicious smelling..

but ill get back to you on that one

ps. also i looked on my bottle of fumaric acid and it says its melting point is 287C which is about 550F...so there is something here

on the vaporization test, did you smell spice?

i just vaporized some more of it on my hotplate and it DOES smell like dmt...i need to freebase it and see what happens
