i know the question might sound a little silly but i want to know what are the benifits of using dmt over a long term ? and i am not asking about self discovery of your own self or feeling better over time , what i am asking is concrete resuts of skills you have learned over time or capablities that other individuals don't posess ? i have been using psychadelics over 8 years now , i have only started with spice , and over this term of years i have gained mastery of my left hand and being a natural right hander this was not an easy accomplishment , i can now use my left hand to write , paint , etc just like my right hand and even write two things at the same time with both hands this was a concrete result , so i am asking you guys has spice done somethign like this for you or a total different set of skills which can be concretely used in this reality i know it might sound more silly now however i was a student when i started using psychadelics and i really wanted to expand my mind so i used these for a lot of learning experiences involving books , studying on lsd , i once tried learning how to play a flute on LSD which did not work however there are some things which become easier to learn on these states like music making , painting and whenyou read books on these states you'll never forget , i am going to use spice also to learn and ingrain skills into myself with also spiritual growth a part of what i want , however my priority is to learn skills which are usable in this reality with an end result ? illusions !, there are no illusions there is only that which is the truth

improved multitasking. deeper understanding of others intentions based on their body language/expressions. most of this has been caused by mushroom and mescaline tho...spice is only just beginning to awaken things within me. *We are now at a phase of human development where we have accumulated an enormous amount of knowledge through scientific research in the material world. psychedelics in general do this for me. Though DMT is something I'm still getting used to it's turning the cogs. Better understanding and appreciation of even small things in everyday life. Being able to look at things from many different angles and being more empathetic. Waking up with a smile in your soul and wearing it openly without fear of looking like a nut. Understanding how much of an impact you have on everything just by being alive and trying to spread the love because you know it will change things little by little. I admit I want to try painting or music making on psychedelics. If I could just capture the beauty of a DMT experience in a painting I would flip. Especially since Im terrible at visual art. My name is love, for I am without fear

A deeper, and more profound respect for all life. A realization that we are not the center of everything, quite the contrary, we are just a small part of everything. Long term use has been wonderful for me. I no longer use frequently, and find Aya more of an ally right now than vaped xtals, however NOTHING and I mean NOTHING works better as a "reset" button for me than 50-60mgs spice on Caapi leaf. When things just aren't right in my head, or I feel depression coming on, a trip to hyperspace will set me right again. The Spice extends life The Spice expands consciousness The Spice is vital for space travel ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Never underestimate the power of STUFF!

I don't know SWIM and personally don't trust him at all. If SWIM is posting, most likely I will not respond...as I said, I don't trust the guy. YOU I trust, but never SWIM.

Amen, it is sad how much we take for granted and overlook the apprehension and understanding of how things are and how they work and what aesthetically pleasing attributes they have.

I'd say in my ability to understand and perceive the world around me. Yes, there is no way to really prove this beyond my word, it is not concrete. I think people like us, those who have joined this forum, searching for information, seeking a more enlightened and enriched life, will always develop skills and ideas which those who become content and stagnate will not. I believe these drugs like DMT as well as others psychedelics, which invoke a spiritual reconciliation, to aid those in search for a better understanding. Improving our quality of life. Which is measurable in terms of acquire skills, knowledge, experiences, and even monetary gain. But, the spark always originates deep within oneself. A simple thought, creating incentives for years to come. The drugs are a physical spiritual mediary. They let us dive into this, abyss - if you will - of imagination concentrated (or sporadic) thought. You may not like what they show you, make you understand, but it all originates from you. “Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed.”

Not really a "long term user" yet, but so far it equipped Gustavo Bonk with the ability to embrace the not-knowing, and to turn that as a seemingly dis-advantage into an advantage. For one.

Did Gustavo Bonk mean the "unkown" by the term "unkowing"? If not what is the unkowing? How has it changed from a dis-advantage?

OMG that name really existed, it popped in like a muse I swear. Better had checked that in advance. So earlier the not-knowing created feelings like: insecure, behind-on-the-facts, a stress to be vigilant for the un-knowing popping up and being unprepared when it does and some restless fear for such a happening, a feeling of not coping with the world, not smart enough to deal with it all, not have done enough to be smart enough, one has never done enough, digging in all media to be prepared, to be able to talk about any subject, to have notion of everything so to be able to smart it out, the smart out is the only solution, have to be more smart, and more if possible, so he felt really threatened due his insecurity and non completeness, the not-knowing was felt as a shortcoming, a dis-advantage. The period of spice use (main element among others) changed that to embracing and trust, one has to learn that with spice. The load was off, the threat and stress of the un-known feeling a megaton less. The not-knowing is accepted and seen as a normal friend. An unknown friend, yet there. An extra potential to rely on, to trust in, one that's waiting from behind the curtains to whisper the right inspiration on the right moment. A shadowed advantage. Thank you medicine. PS: Gustavo still learns and likes to know, but the engine behind it has been swapped.

PS: Gustavo still learns and likes to know, but the engine behind it has been swapped. That makes a lot of sense to me now. I am going through the same thing. When I rigorously identify with my ego and are just sort of blank stated in to thinking habitual thoughts about preparing for the unprepared, attaining more knowledge, having the upper hand on others and trying to play one up on the universe I see it as a fear based mechanism in order to assure itself it knows what it is doing. It chooses to do this because it is undergoing something obscure that makes it choose to behave that way, what is this obscure thing you ask? The same thing that makes your normal state of mind seem different to how your awarness feels during a trip. It is a blandness that permeates the mind and leaves one feeling empty and ultimately leads people in to other "gumption traps" instead of attaining more knowledge it is getting doe and hot bitchiaz and hot rodz and fly clothes. I think monks realize what this emptiness really is, or not understand what it is but they know how to use it to their advantage and transform it into REAL emptiness that some people on here describe when they go on their journeys into psychedlia. And so and so we come back to DMT helping us to be relieved or if not relieved to better understand that emptiness or fear of the unkown or existential anxiety or "insert term here" and find peace with ourselves until our next hit lol. It is as you say an extra potential to rely on, to trust in, one that's waiting from behind the curtains to whisper the right inspiration at the right moment. A shadowed advantage. It is funny that this all can be reduced to a complicated description of what we feel and think occurs when the dimethyltryptamine diminishes activity in the ventromedial prefrontal cortex and changes activity in the default mode network aswell as enhancing visual feedback loops in the occipital lobe.
