I am the silence between songs
The darkness beneath light
The love that begets hate
The past, present, and future
The emptiness of all things

I am the dream of being awake
The game that everyone plays
The sorrow that pervades the soul
The life that washes away
The emptiness of all things

I am the spark that sets you free
The chains that bind you in place
The longing for something more
The acceptance of what is
The emptiness of all things

I am the emptiness of all things
The Death that haunts the living
The promise of being undone
The hope that scours all pain
The thoughts that control the world

I am the universe and everything in it
I am everything and I am nothing
I am perceiver, perception, perceived
I am the enigma, the anomaly, the paradox
I am the emptiness of all things

Thumbs up

And I hope that won't be too burdensome for you. Wink

I really enjoyed that. It resonated deeply.

One thing I did notice whether intentional or not was that it was full of duality.

Thank you for posting this.

Beautiful Palmer, very deep and extremely relatable. When you find what you're looking for it's such a huge but small thing all at once.

Very well written, remember, we do what we can. Happy travels Smile

Very nice, clearly took a lot of thought and refection. Wonder if it was more channeled or you thought of the concepts and then put them to words?

Definitely intentional Smile

Umm, a little of both, I guess. I was reflecting the day after my trip, and the words just started to form in my journal. Before I knew it, there was the start of a poem. Some of the ideas were more consciously decided, others were just there.
