I’ve been perusing all over the forum, so much incredible information! I figured I’d introduce myself.
I’m 19, and I’ve been using cannabis in various forms for a few years now. My interest in psychedelics started in late high school, when I (on a whim) decided to take 3.5g of some P. cubensis of unknown variety with some friends.
This being my first psychedelic experience, you can probably imagine how well that went. It was all fun and games until I was smacked in the face by some previously ignored mental issues and had a full on black out psychotic episode. The last thing I remembered consciously was freaking out next to my friend’s cat, just repeating the words “the cat knows what I mean…the cat knows what I mean…”
During the psychotic episode I stumbled all around my friend’s basement, crashing into things and making a huge mess. Not to mention involuntarily urinating all over myself and the floor! I saw some pretty disturbing things and once the ordeal was over I swore off psychedelics and committed to getting myself the help I needed.
Later on, I was given the opportunity to try some LSD and considering my mental state was vastly improved, I went for it and had a great time. I’ve since had quite a few experiences with both acid and mushrooms, most of which have been positive and have made me realize the power of psychedelics, and that they’re a tool for reflection and improvement and definitely not just a drug for fun.
More recently I’ve been fascinated by DMT and its powers. I’ve been doing a lot of research, and finally got the courage to try breaking through for the first time. I recall seeing a tesseract shape of sorts, made up of small blocks that had constantly changing letters that seemed to make up some sort of indecipherable code. I was met by a light being of sorts, but was just so mystified I couldn’t think of anything to say or ask them. I felt at ease, and had an unbelievable sense of understanding, as if everything had clicked (‘end of the line’ type trip). I was soon sent back to Earth, leaving me confused and in awe.
I’m excited to explore hyperspace further and hopefully improve myself along the way! SWIM is in the process of procuring supplies for extraction, I’ve always been a believer in making my own stuff (I grew some JMF mushrooms and they are INCREDIBLY potent)!
