Well this was interesting. Drove by this place several times thinking it was another cute mushroom tchotka shop but it was not!
News outlets reported on it and the next day 100's of people cued up for 3 blocks and waited hours to patronize the store. It seems to have been nothing more than a misguided cash grab run by Canadian investors. Every customers now has their info in LEO's hands, the owner is being held on 1.5 mil bail, two employees are also in jail who worked under the ill-informed idea that it was legal (do yer due dilligence, G) and gawd knows what will happen to the cultivators.
It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. I was really hoping it would be an opening salvo for legalization and a smack in the face to 109.
