Hello Nexus. I've been an avid fan of your forums for a long time now, but out of necessity and interest, I've joined and hope to participate. I jumped right into the questionnaire and now feel exhausted but I'm going to go ahead with this intro thread anyway, mostly because I have so many questions and there is so much to talk about.
A bit about me... I've always been interested in psycho-active substances, though I've never done or even seen LSD. I've had a ton of experience with dried and wet psilocybin, almost entirely positive experiences, and long ago, have tried salvia, which was without a doubt the most bizarre thing I've experienced in my life (and my friends will all say the same thing). I've found the inconsistencies with different types of psilocybin to be the biggest put off, due to the duration, as I've had very small doses of some cause very different and more intense experiences than larger doses of others. I've found microdosing psilocybin irregularly (so not every day, and not even every month) to be very soothing and therapeutic.
Otherwise I have the same hobbies, goals, and aspirations as most people. I enjoy film/movies a lot, the outdoors, and traveling around the world. I'm moderately social with a small friend circle but prefer being alone for my experiences.
I'm interested in DMT and extracting it myself. In fact, I have all or almost all of the necessary materials and components for an AB extraction, though I'm still not entirely confident in the step-by-step process as every step-by-step instructional has provided slightly different steps, some are set up for larger quantities (and therefore use much larger implements), skip steps, add steps, etc. This is essentially why I've decided to join this board and pursue membership.
I've been interested in doing DMT for over a decade. I recognize it's strength and believe I'm capable of going in and coming out based on previous experiences with other things. I think it can really help me to explore and see myself, and really grasp on to while letting go of reality and the things that hold me down. As I mentioned, I'm pretty anti-social, so I was hoping to do it alone, however I do have a friend I've known for 90% of life who will host and babysit me... he's already happily agreed to it.
The Attitude section and questionnaire were a lot to take in and I'm not in any huge rush, so I'll omit any questions I have from this intro post, I just wanted to get my intentions out there. I'm confident in my ability to do this and do it correctly but due to the volatile nature of lye, etc. I'd prefer to check, check, and double check.
Anyway. I've greatly enjoyed reading about user experiences and learning about the culture and attitudes on this forums before I joined. I can't express the appreciation I have to the members and staff who make up this community.
Thanks, hope you enjoyed reading.
