Howdy strangers!

In years past, I've had my mother plant pollinated outdoors by swaths of hungry insects.

My current cluster is flowering like a cat in heat indoors, and it feels a bit late in the season to throw these horny bastards outside (I live in zone 6B).

Can I pollinate them by hand? Is it worth it?
