It's funny, because I never had any drugs until I was 18. Smoke weed, realize it's not bad, research safety of psychedelics, realize they're safe, try them, like them, extract them. A quick path from straight-laced and sober to clandestine drug extraction, lol.

SWIM can relate. tried his first weed at 16, third weed at 20, first shrooms at 20 and a long list at 21, which he now is Very happy

(is now up to 6th weed, still doesn't like it)

The 2 teks use non-toxic lime and vinegar and Tek 1: d-Limonene or Xylene or Tek 2: Naptha to produce very quick high yields with the greatest of ease.

So that it might
Find

22 years on this planet under my belt. I've been exploring entheogens for about 4 years now.

Hey SmokeyDaze, I used to pass for much older than I was, now I dunno, I probly look like it, but maaaaaan oh man, sideburns in 8th grade is a hoot. Then of course there's nothing like hitting high school and being able to go to slightly ghetto liquor stores and not get carded...but once I discovered our plant friends, alcohol went out the window.

I'm 54. Look somewhat younger.

Older people are far less likely to be on-line, and if we are, we are far more likely to be paranoid about posting in forums like this one.

Younger people use the internet all the time and partake in forums in much greater numbers. They are also less likely to be worried about posting on a forum like this one.

People 18-23 are likely to still live at home, and be paranoid their parents will see them viewing these kinds of sites, so are less likely to visit this site.

So I think these poll numbers need to be looked at from that perspective, and not taken to mean much else.

Just curious the current age of our fellow nexians. Seems like we have grown a lot since the last age threads. Let's see where were at.

It has been a strange, long, and interrupted journey with psychedelics. I started in summer 1973 smoking MJ. By 1974 I had tried LSD, peyote, and mushrooms several times and graduated high school in 1976. Now I am 52 and just tried spice in June after taking a break since 1982 or so. I'm glad to see a few of us around here in that age group. I was one of the guys playing with online services before the internet had taken off. I used to dial up to BBS (bulletin board services) and have a lot of fun in the mid 1980's chatting with folks when I was in my early to mid 30's.

I am one of the odd ones around here who really does not want to revisit the brain fog of MJ or the world of alcohol consumption. To each his own!

Indole psychedelics had been introduced to me when I was 18 years old. At late 90ties. Good old times. Live rave community back than in Central Europe. Many times zubidlo went to illegal techno parties deep into forests. I'll never forget my first LSD trip (liquid lysergide). Lovely times. Dancing, lying down in the grass, watching Milky Way...I think there was a big comet visible for few weeks in one of those summers (???) Do you remember that?
It was 15 years ago. I actually heard about DMT those days as well, but 12 years had to pass for me to experience it.

I'm getting sentimentalCrying or very sad

i just read this entire thread, and i'm surprised to find out that there are a lot more young people here than i had previously suspected. chemists, and mods in their early-mid 20's is quite unexpected..wow

well, i'm 20 and got into psychs about 2 years ago..yea college. But until 2 yrs ago, i had swore to myself, and knew for a fact that i would never in my life drink a single sip of alcohol, or puff a single hit of a cig, let alone touch "drugs." its been a real crazy journey since thenShocked
started with alcohol, then cigs, then weed, then E, and after that came..the mushrooms. after experiencing satori on my first shroom trip, my whole life had turned around. i started reading about shrooms with such passion, and realized that there was so much more. soon i had tried almost every psych could get my hands on. i switched my major from biotech to botany, and extractions had become one of my favorite hobbiesVery happy

Im 36 and been using psychedelics since 13 when I first tried shrooms then LSD a few years later. Graduated to Salvia and LSA in the late 90's (first heard about DMT then as well) then to mescaline and a few other dissociatives/stimulants etc. Finally after many years of searching I finally hit the nexus a few years back and have never looked back since learning the art of a good extraction.

26 of your earth years I've been a part of the Gaia matrix. Smile

I look my age more or less but I've always felt like an old man, always wondered how all these damn kids (ha ha I even think to myself about my peers like an ornery old man) could be so ignorant, always been told by groovy hippie chicks with tarot cards about my "old soul". Everyone that knows me would swear up and down that I belong in the 60's-70's era.

Back when I was 14 that kid down the street (yeah you know the one) took me out to the field and introduced me to the wonders of cannabis, a few weeks later he dropped a tye-dyed postage stamp on my tongue and said "it's pink floyd dude, your gonna love it!" I oft wonder if he has any idea of what he created all those years ago. Twisted Evil

I recently turned 28... And still get carded for cigs every single time(unless its a local shop where they know me). I think i'm still going through puberty since my facial hair is still trying to fill in. Couldn't ever grow anything more than side-burns.
