Whoa, what great info this thread has. I've been on a mission to find Acorus americanus for like a year. I'm at the edge of it's range, so I haven't successfully located any, but with the extraction tek here I may just take a chance on an online vendor.

I became interested in it because I have a couple friends that took it and experienced the low-level LSD type experience without much nausea. They did it with freshly harvested rhizome.

I still hope to find some to transplant though. I also found a couple promising leads on the internet as to where some might be growing near me. Quite a successful week as far as calamus info gathering goes.
