A lot of women too. (again, not the sex... OK?!?) Having said that, I have been in arguments with the aforementioned girlfriend about: the boiling point of water, whether or not it will rain, where to put a tent when there is only one high ground flat spot in the shade, what to eat (on a daily basis, though i was the one cooking it all), how paper is made, why a thermometer works, why men cry, homeopathy, why an anchor is needed in gyp-rock to hold up shelves, and yes, full circle - the FREEZING point of water... Wait a second here, did you just make me turn this into a bitch session about my ex, Dioxippus? Damn you!!! JBArk See, I've always been kind of almost disappointed when something comes to completion. I'll lose myself in the process, the work, the journey, and when it comes to fruition I'll think "Aw...now it's done" or even, "Aw...all that and this is it?" But again, I reiterate, I'm not exactly your typical man. Oh Christ, don't get me started on the ex now too! She was, admittedly, very....um....intellectually challenged. She once argued with me for several minutes that the sun rotates around the earth They'll argue anything, sometimes even when they know they're wrong. I find it so bizarre. I don't pretend to understand it in the least! At least when it comes to sex we can see things the same way!

I don't pretend to understand it in the least! I have not argued much with my exes about factual stuff. Maybe i just pick the clever ones (atleast cleverer than me). But if this thread is turning into everyone wingeing about ex partners i will say that the only arguments i have ever had is when they think i fancy their sister, friends, filmstars, popstars, barmaids, the girl working on the fish counter at the supermarket ad infinitum. Used to wind me up no end. Especially when a particular form of warped fuzzy logic is incorporated by said partner to make sense of why i fancy someone else. I didn"t deal with that particular insecurity very well. Could"ve made a better hash of it. Live and learn.

Modern 1st country citizens have almost forgotten about rites of passages.
Native traditions play a lot of emphasis on integrating polarities and moving towards responsibility/maturity.
For example native Americans in the U.S still do "Vision quests" as a process to also integrate our masculine and feminine energies. Maybe you could do one (never done one but sounds very profound and liberating).

Always, when a question about beeing a men is raised I think of: HERBERT GRÖNEMEYER - MEN Quote: men will open their arms men assure security men will cry in their beer if you don't treat them tenderly so vulnerable, here are the men whatever in the world would the world become without them?
men do deals and favours men think a woman can be owned men will always hustle men tell lies on the telephone
men are all primed for action wallets full of credit cards the main attraction
men consider themselves with pride men are macho, but so soft inside men need help, 'cause they can't decide what makes a man a man when is a a man a man? what makes a man a man?
men have rippling muscels men can carry heavy sacks... men who've seen it all men who'll have many heart attacks
men bash their heads on brick walls men who think that only men make any sense at all
men consider themselves with pride men are macho, but so soft inside men need help, 'cause they can't decide what makes a man a man when is a a man a man? what makes a man a man?
men get drunk with style men go out to pick a fight men read morning papers men watch tv late at night men are building missiles men do each and every single damn right thing when is a man a man? what makes a man a man?
men can never have babies men are going bald on top men just want to be human but they're programmed to be men, they cannot stop so vulnerable, here are the men whatever in the world would the world become without them?
men were glasses to cover their eyes men go off into corners to cry men need help, 'cause they can't decide what makes a man a man when is a man a man? what makes a man a man?
