I didn't watch the Olympics, but definitely saw how it garnered the masses attention in the area I live in. Sports are good when your playing them, nothing wrong with exercise, teamwork, etc. Thanks and Praises, Love and Gratitude, Peace and Unity, Hemp Seed & Honey

Thanks Kronas, http://www.youtube.com/w...player_detailpage#t=241sI've set a quick reference point to the video to help demonstrate my point that the Olympics to me, as well as these peoples opinions it seems, is that it's just another way of "normalizing" the masses. I would have expected other nexus users to have also understood this as a certain definate possibility but i think personally that they are perhaps too unaware to notice this?? Clearly this demonstrates that the Olympics are like most other sporting events just another form of crowd control, where the other media fails to reach, this fills in that gap. Food for thought, or is Christian just one big silly moaner?? BUMP! "Eat your vegetables and do as you're told, or you won't be going to the funfair!"

Conspiracy theory.
Abrasive manner.
So useful to have you here, mate.
I'd say at worst the Olympics are like an expensive hand bag someone doesn't really need, but they buy it anyway just to show off.

( hope you who identified with my comments didn't find them offensive or abrasive, and then why should they even bother you ) I't all too easy to write "conspiracy theory", but take a look at this 3 minute clip, which might help with tha bove conversation, and perhaps open up some plausability in my and indeed other peoples thinkings.. http://www.youtube.com/w...eature=player_detailpage"Eat your vegetables and do as you're told, or you won't be going to the funfair!"

Your comments bother me because they are self-righteous.

Perhaps self confidence is not a typical Brittish trait?? Perhaps it is normal that we act like paupers and put up with the dregs???... Perhaps i have sinned by not being so?? C'mon Soulfood, let's not derail this thread. This thread isn't about controlling the masses, it's about the Olympics...... OR IS IT ??? First of all you annoy me.
Just you. Not anyone else.on the nexus. Many individuals who have been banned from here.didn't annoy me as much as you do. From this I draw the conclusion that you are the problem.
You drag posts offtopic. You twist peoples responses to fit your own meaning in a manner that doesn't make sense. You have been known to have opinions on matters in which you had no experience...
Now you are PMing me asking me why I post on the nexus when I can't keep an open-mind, just because I don't agree with YOU? Regardless of anything, ANYONE can post on the nexus as long as they abide to the attitude and can prove a general interest in the subjects we cover here. I fit that criteria, which is why I post on the nexus. Anything else about my life and how I live it are none of your concern.
Anyways back to the Olympics!
Can you identify the events you claim you believe were fixed? I haven't seen anything or read anything anywhere else but from you about this so....
Can you at least back this up?

Can you at least back this up? please read my prior posts, it's all in there. Please keep pm issues private for that is their purpose. As you can see i pm'd you in response to your asking me why i post on the nexus. wether i irritate you or not is not a problem for me since i have as much right to post here as you do, and also have interesting points to put forward wether you agree or not. In fact it is incorrect for you to attempt to censor me whatsoever. You are not the government, right? Maybe you need to work at your self esteem since you should in no way be taking my posts personally. cheers. "Eat your vegetables and do as you're told, or you won't be going to the funfair!"

christian wrote:1664 wrote:false wins and set up? Can you elaborate?
I saw what appeared to be a woman suddenly give up running just before the yello finishing line to let another win?, a few days ago. Strange and questionable boxing judging and commentating geared towards Britain winning despite it obviously looking like a lie. Seemed like a set up/ i WASN'T CONVINCED THAT IT was real honest ability. It's vague, you see?

Soulfood, i respond to Kronas, and then you accuse me of derailing threads???? Then you respond publicly about something in reference to a pm, when you should have pm'd the response. You tell me how much i have irritated and annoyed you, then you start with picking at my observations of the Olympics that i saw and heard with my own senses in much earlier posts. Please act appropiately and deal with things as and when they bother you in the right manner. YOU have in fact derailed this thread, and demonstrated an immature attitude as well as an inability to accept or allow the simple normal viewpoints of others, simply because your ego cannot accept any other viewpoint, thus preventing freedom of speech. That is the reason/point, of why i sent you a pm. Cheers. "Eat your vegetables and do as you're told, or you won't be going to the funfair!"

soulfood wrote:So you can't give me details of the questionable events? you mean you didn't watch the olympics...? Actually unless you have recorded footage of all the events i cannot show them to you. If you did see the Olympics i'm sure that you like many from my local gym will at least recognise that GB won a heavyweight boxing title that didn't seem right at all, even Lennox Lewis was "blagging" it!! Any other questionable events??..Look here: http://www.telegraph.co....ympics-2012-scandal.html Some lead...others follow... So anywaaaay.... A good haul.for the UK, Chris Hoy becomes the most decorated British Olympian, Jason Bolt defended 2 gold medals and Michael Phelps retires as the most decorated Olympian of all time. Just a few reasons why I liked London 2012... Sure the Spice girls were there and not in the past... Where they belong... But so were the Who! Gotta love the Who, right?
