man.

been there, no job, no money...hate the world, etc...

the world is ours though...take what you know and turn it around for your own use.

we all have to keep walking forward.

don't give up just because you can't see over the wall you gotta climb.

climb the wall, take the journey, feel the pain of life....and you just might find paradise afterwards.

I didn't mean to suggest your quitting your work with entheogens would resolve things. I would suggest that you don't make it the focus of your life right now. Your focus has to be on getting yourself grounded. From what I understand, the reason you need to get you back on track is security. Security that a job and money provides. Not having that tends to have a snowball effect on many other areas of life.

IME when life takes me down those bumpy roads, psychedelics tend to magnify all the bad that is going on around me, that in turn causes me to dwell, which causes anxiety, and that in turn puts me in a mind state that is not beneficial to focusing and correcting the situation at hand.

House you are one who has the solution. You have the skills. You just need focus and a little luck.

lol, I know, lol.

The wisdom you have demonstrated to me on these boards leads me to believe you are one who is capable of creating your own luck.

You have the resources do you have the resolve? that's what you have to figure out.

Taking a break from psychs definitely works. As Art Van D' Lay said... they are not going anywhere.
I know I will never leave them, but you can be sure that sometimes integration can take several months.

Large breaks from all kind of psychoactives can really help you stabilize yourself.
Of course doing psychs and thinking about them is not the same as not doing them and thinking about them.

Driving the slow lane for some months ain't bad at all Cool

I've done it and it helps get me get my stuff together... and I'm sure that you know what you mean.

Think about this option as well

Peace!

House I did not even finish the thread after I read that. Before I go and finish reading I would like to say IMHO there is no such thing whatsoever as being Normal. I'll post again after I read the rest.

Man I hate reading about things like this. Its just like you said House there is enough to go around for everyone but why so much shit. Im so sorry to hear about this and wish I could do something.

I wish so much that this did not have to be so "bad" and put in jail for having it because I would love to meet some of the people here on nexus. I don't have any friends and I have not met anyone in real life that has as much of a open mind as people on here do.

I dont know where you live but some place do a renters rebate thing for low income. You can try and find that and apply and get anywhere from 500 to 1000 which isnt much in todays terms but its something. I dont know if thats the same as the section 8 you were talking about.

Everything I post is purely for Role playing.

Many blessing's and Peace

Luckily I qualified for food stamps. I never thought I'd be asking the government for help, but I am.

My girlfriend does have a job as a caretaker, but won't make nearly enough next month to pay for our living expenses...what a trip...I'm hoping to god I can just make some stupid money so the stress is off our back.

And to top it off...I have the worst flu of my life right now...

strange, strange tests...

Don't feel bad getting help.. people fought years ago to have these mechanisms within the system to promote life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for ALL (well all citizens...)
The wave continues to amplify, the lows lower and highs higher, sometimes we need a little help riding out the lows.

We're all in this together and all mirror each other heavily, constantly growing and changing,
just focus on situations in the past that have worked out and always remember the answers found across all parts of the framework

Feel better buddy Crying or very sad
the process is love <3

been ther3 to must say
and dont fell bad about the stamps ex
i was a working man my self
i think the problem comes with the realization that hard work (in mordern culture) does not always pay off
take a break from your journeys and such (i had to )
and your taking a break from work as well (good its not a bad thang )
sit around your house for a month really
and just relax and be a bit more selfish
read the Return To Rama in this time Very happy (sci fi )
i worked for 22 years trying to bide my time hoping all will get better
then i to lost my house after a year or 2 of struggle
droped my job went on unemployment (wich i thought only scummy people did ect wrong )
and whent and visited close friends and family
people i could talk to
who ( I ) was open with
the world was a vampire then
you see for me i new what the answer was for me but i kept lyeing to my self o
i dont have time
i need to work (in the sence of "normal " jobs and such )
i need this and that ect
when i realised i did not need all this stuff i aquried
and started really doing my art and travling ive been better
i only make about 1 fourth a month now as i used to
i dont get the latest wacha call its and such
but im much more free just a rent note and internet bill
so i can plan a trip every 4 months and save for it
my life is simpe now
just like my spelling ability and thats fine
thats all it was
this world is crazy
and yes so are you
and thats why you fit in so nicely

youll be fine it just takes a bit to realize this
