Usually what season has more alkaloids for Acacias, nen, if such generalization can be made?

Now its spring, flowering time..

Can I collect samples and let them air dry and later test, or do you think alkaloid content will change too much during this drying process and not be reliable to tell whats in the plant at first?

^..the only generalizations re alkaloid levels in can really make are: nearly always lower (or absent) after heavy or prolonged rainfall; and sometimes lower (or altered) during flowering (but not always)

dried material should preserve alkaloid content..

A. retinodes is definitely one of interest...so am really interested endlessness

A. terminalis
A. kulnurensis

Seems to be many new ID requests lately.

Can anyone please id these:

As mentioned before basic info needed is area, close up of phyllodes (and ideally glands).. Seed pods and flowers also help especially seedpods. Trunk also.

Hi, I have just notice this tree along the road side outside my house. It seems like some Acacia species i see here on forum. The location is Borneo island, SE Asia. Can any masters travelers here please help me ID please, thank you.

Any pictures of the flower?

Looks more similar to a Mimosa to me. Mimosa hostilis and Mimosa spp. (pudica, ophthalmocentra etc) Workspace.

It could be a leadtree (Leucaena leucocephala)

It does have flowers on it. But, i'm quite sure its not MH as it doesn't have torns. Thank you for the input
