I would totally read that! I haven't read a good science fiction novel since third Moon rising came out. Similar concept to a degree but it deals more with the attempted colonization of an alien planet already inhabited by humanoids. You should give it a read sometime.

No one ever said you have to write the whole thing in one sitting, it could be a long standing project. Something to do when you're sitting around wishing you had something to do. If things with COVID keep at the pace they're at we all might have plenty of time to work on books and such. I know I could use the time to rehearse and refine my show lol
