You don't have to be Carl Jung to recognize that the OP unconsciously wanted to go to prison.

Most people around here are fairly responsible and take reasonable precautions.

A few don't and for what it's worth, I think it doesn't hurt when people share their story when they get caught.

Regardless of whether they were reckless or not, there will always be other people who could use a little reminder regarding how much shit we could potentially get ourselves into.

I have also pondered this very point. Not to take this thread off-topic too much (I don't want to start a whole new topic on this) but has DMT-Nexus ever had requests to reveal the identity of any of its members? I am curious as to if this has ever happened, you Americans call it a subpoena I think?

Thanks to The Traveler numerous protections are in place to guard against disclosure of member information to authorities. For one, the server is not in the US. There are in fact other ways to gain access without a US subpoena but they are not legal and therefore will not be disclosed. This is where parallel construction is used. However, this is not likely given our Attitude of no sourcing, buying, selling, etc. Authorities are not going to go after a site where they cannot prosecute individual members for crimes. This is why we have no sourcing rules in place!

There are other measures in place like encrypting IPs, salting, etc so even if someone comes knocking on The Traveler's door there is not much he can do to help.

You know, it actually was kinda like a monastery. A loud, annoying monastery. But at night, when it's just you and the hum of the AC and the Tibetan Book of the Dead, Tao te Ching or the Pali Canon, not to mention a bunch of physics and chemistry textbooks and a lot of DMT flashbacks, it's a little slice of paradise, till you remember where you are again.
I literally copied a whole physics textbook and was working out equations in free time.
Would I want to go back? No, but it was easy to get through. If there's a next time, it won't be so forgiving.

Meh, they were just phishing. Trying to see if they could find anything illegal. They already had a smoking gun anyway.
Funny thing is, they gave it to the feds and after seven months they gave all my stuff back. I enjoy wasting the government's money when they're toying with my freedom. I would have made them get a warrant if I didn't think I was going to jail within the week. Turns out I had seven months without any of my tech >.>

Don't worry about regular beat cops. If Metropolitan Enforcement Groups or DEA show up, you're screwed anyway. They don't play, and they don't lose. They've had their eye on you for a while, and they have a solid case before they even show up.

If I didn't have a youtube video that showed a process that was technically illegal, i.e. extraction of dextromethorphan, they would have never had any reason to show up.

Go check out Adios, World if you want to know more about the events that led to me being locked up.

Feds gave me back my computers, then the Sherriff was at my door the next morning with an arrest warrant. They were waiting on the Feds to finish their phishing trip.

Also I feel I should mention that from what I gathered in prison, cops almost never take electronic routes to make a case. My case was novel in a lot of ways, and they even screwed up the paperwork.
I should have, by all rights, been convicted of two production charges, one of Dextromethorphan and one of DMT, but I think they thought I was trying to use cough syrup to synthesize DMT somehow.
The newspaper thought Agent Lemon was the name of the chemical. The judge said she has never seen a case with the word dimethyltryptamine in it, and also mispronounced it.
There were things in the discovery that were technically incorrect but were close enough that the state could just call it equivocation and move on unimpeded if it were to go to trial. To avoid cops, you must think like a cop.

This all just goes to show how little state and local authorites, less the MEG and DEA groups know about anything related to DMT.

Look around your house and think: "If a cop looked in my window right now, how many felonies would I get?" "How easily could a cop justify getting a warrant just from my curb appeal?"

Another gem of wisdom: don't s*** where you eat. Extract that stuff somewhere else. Find a place in walking distance like a hollow in a wooded area, make a table, draw a pentagram on it or whatever, and pretend to be a wiccan. Get creative, but don't do alchemy at home. It's bad practice.

That all sounds awesome, dude. You got locked up for the most unnecessary of reasons, and you've come out more cynical and racist than when you went in.

It really seems like there are no lessons to be learned here whatsoever. If I were you, I would make some more YouTube videos and then flap my gums like an imbecile to the cops again when they inevitably come knocking. It's easy time, right?

Carry on!

I understand that different places and institutions have different cultures, but I'd like to relay this anecdote.

There was someone who I was loosely acquainted with but avoided due to him being a racist, he even had a swastika tattoo. He went to prison, I heard this story from him after he got out.

He was in some dark area where it was out of sight of the guards (like the showers you mentioned I suppose) and he was ambushed by a large group of black prisoners. They pulled out a joint and got him high.

He came out saying that he was an idiot for being a racist, and even had his swastika tattoo covered up.

Yep, that is how you cure neurosis like that. It all stems from narrow-mindedness and if you open up the mind, perspective floods in and obliterates it.

@ OP. I would like to have seen your face when you just found out that you were getting raided. I bet it was a look of sheer dread "oh no, here we fucking go"

Sorry you had to do all that bro, somethings in this life are really shit Thumbs down including the human brains inability to form rational laws that don't do injustice like this.

So, tempting the fates with a new thread, "I just got out of jail, Part II"? Seems rather foolish to me but it also seems like you enjoy being locked up.

I see within the very same thread OP mentions being busted & going to prison for extraction, a newspaper article, & enough specifics to easily find that article included & then mentions continuing to extract.

What an imbecile, I'm sorry. I don't think you have the slightest clue about how to conduct yourself in a manner that won't get you or others around you locked up.

No need to drag anyone here down with you. Enjoy a nice long vacation.
