I think DMT is both the one of the most enjoyable and least enjoyable things at the same time. It is recreational and work at the same time.
Unlike some others here though I don’t believe in sacred or divine. I don’t believe we need to state intention. Maybe these things will work for you. Experiment if you are going to. Do and believe what works for you. Maybe you already know, maybe you will find out.
My view may be shallow. I entered this game initially for pretty lights and odd experiences when I first took acid many years ago. My love of extreme experiences and the ability to play with the way that my mind and reality works is probably closer to my interest now.
I find practical applications and benefits in psychedelics; adjusting my mind opens doors and helps me to look at things from a fresh angle. Sometimes I may come back in deep fear, sometimes with a feeling of joy.

I think something closer to reality is that whether or not you use psychedelics responsibly you may well find hell. Even moreso with DMT – it’s a lucky dip. Roll the dice and get what you get. We have some slight ability to manipulate outcome in set and setting but this can only go so far.
A lot of people emphasise love, joy, oneness etc. etc. too much when it comes to DMT. If you do decide work more with spice be mindful you are also likely to find the polar opposites of these things and more.
