I ask this because a friend of mine had ordered a powered for of modafinil from india. Customs caught the package and it spent 45 days with them. He was worried sick but eventually they cleared it because they couldnt figure out what it was. They had burnt thru about 25% of the bag performing testes. I know about the mass Spectrometer. It only shows the percentage of elements figuring out what those elements accrue to is difficult. DMT is made up of mostly carbon with some nitrogen and hydrogen which is a common formula for about any organic compound. Unless there's a specific test like the one for cocaine then a small town would burn thru a fortune figuring it out and taking a chance it's nothing at all. This guy screwed around and left lab equip with the DMT or he ratted on himself when they put pressure on him. He prolly would have gotten off if he kept his mouth shut. If you don't sin, Jesus died for nothing.

Yeah, usually it seems that the key evidence in a lot small drug busts would have to come from self-incrimination on one level or the other. You have the right to remain silent, whether they tell you so or not, so use it as much as possible. He may not have gotten off per-say, but perhaps law enforcement would end up a bit more weary of going after such obscure substances. Don't make it too easy for them to violate your human and civil rights.

I wonder what are the motivation of the journalist/reviewer to write that : Quote:DMT vapor produces a harsh feeling on the lungs, elevates blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature and dilates pupils. How pathetic are theses drug addicts, why do someone would like to smoke something which is harsh and elevate heart rate... ? Better run in a big town near cars at the rush hour, the result would be the same Oh gods, what happened to humans if they can read that without thinking further... or maybe it was the point of the reviewer, exciting curiosity without taking the risk to tell good things about the spice ?

Well, it is the language they know. The general population are totally dependent on physicality. Mentioning the psychological aspects of the experience would make most readers wonder if the journalist has "gone nuts". After all, the world is only physical, in their misguided belief. The main-stream is psychotic. Nothing more, nothing less. Treat them as such.
"DMT vapor produces extraordinary spiritual experiences, answers to great mysteries of life, ability to see into other dimensions, and contact with entities from your unconsciousness and possibly from other realms." That would raise quite a few eyebrows, wouldn't it?

If the guy WAS selling DMT then i totally disagree with it. I try to give it away as much as i can to try share what the drug has to offer. I would feel so uneasy selling it, knowing very well that it is so cheap and easy to make. It's nice giving it away to random nice people i meet at psy parties who are eager to try it (not recommending them smoking it there of course). I get so excited it about it and love sharing something so sacred with the world.
