Okay. This is a MUCH more moderate presentation than you chose to deliver previously. You never included the caveat of “if one is interested” at all – and even went so far as to describe one member’s 70 year old parents as ignorant if they chose not to imbibe in peyote.
My point of view isn’t so very complicated, and I think I’ve stated it pretty clearly – but I will lay it out there one more time without addressing anyone in particular.
The psychedelic experience has been - for me - transformative in the extreme. The discovery of DMT in particular, I consider one of the seminal events of my lifetime. Through it, I have found a connection to the source of all living things. It is my personal pipeline to divinity. But this is just my experience.
I would never presume to tell anyone that the way I’ve found is The Way. This is the lesson DMT has taught me: that The Way is essentially limitless. Get there through any religion you choose. Get there through service to others. Get there through art, through music, through love. Just get there. Or don’t. It’s your choice. If it brings you comfort, brings you closer to God, makes your days on this planet more bearable – as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else – by all means, jump on in.
DMT has shown me that I don’t know a goddamn thing - that there are no absolutes in this world – and probably not in the next one. So, I’ve come to spot the charlatan as the one who says “Mine is The Way”, and the minute he does that tells me it ain’t – cause if it was, he wouldn’t be selling it. Think for yourselves. Find your own way. Mine is just mine. And that’s it.
These are my feelings on the matter for anyone who gives a shit.

Uncle Knucles, you were so wrong in interpreting my words, I don't even know where to begin. You read things into my statements I didn't even say. You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. I try to sneak back from time to time under different names, but unfortunately, the moderators of the DMT-Nexus are infinitely smarter than I am.
If you see me at the waterpark, please say hello. I'll be the delusional 50 something in the American flag Speedo, oiling up his monster guns while responding to imaginary requests for selfies from invisible teenage girls.

It seems I can't talk to you without you either misunderstanding my words or you insulting me. I think it bothers you so greatly that I speak my mind and that you want to somehow silence me and it pisses you off that you can't. I think that's what this is about. I don't care if you feel like that. But if the mods feel I am overstepping my bounds by speaking about it the way I am, then I'll respect that and not speak again about it. I love the Nexus. As a third party, I think calling ron "Psychedelic Jesus" is not helping you in any way Mr. Art. It seems that this whole thing was personal, and that you were searching for something to confront this figure of the Nexus. “Envy shoots at others and wounds itself” - English proverb

Clouds, where did you get that picture? Did you photoshop it or is that real? You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. Age is a complicated issue, because on the one hand it does matter, but the fact that it matters may be an excuse for some people for not taking others (much younger or older) seriously.
I think that on forums like this (about psychedelics) it is innevitable that maturehood is to some extent an issue.
Look at the recent anouncement from the mods about people bragging about excessive use of substances. That clearly has to do with maturity.
You got to have some level of self awareness (also about your weaknesses)and ability to oversee the consequences of your actions in time, to yourself and others, etc, to be able to deal with psychedelic substances.
People who have reached this level of maturity are able to handle pesychedelics and it is most likely to benefit them, others better stay away from them.
Not taking people seriously because of their age is a mistake, and peticularly for childeren it poor teachering.
All this sayd i like to add that i have a great deal of respect for you 69ron, but i do think that many of the miscommunications that sometimes occur between you and others on the forum, like me, could very well have something to do with a mild generation-conflict.
Like all of us do, you may look at things through the perspective of your generation. I consider the differences in perspective that people of different generations may add to a discussion a valuable thing, since i like pluriformity. But it can also lead to misunderstandings sometimes.
When i look at younger generations i can also see myself sometimes. And i see people making the same decissions as i did, that sometimes i would consider a mistake looking back at it. But at the same time, i realize that to me at that time it wasn't a mistake because i had to learn things, because i valued things differently and sometimes because of the heat of the moment.
Especially that last thing is important. I think that this thing we call 'the heat of the moment' is something that people from different generations see from a different perspective. The older you get, the more you are able to distance yourself from it.
And bothe the older generations and the youner generations are right. You need to be able to take some distance, but when you don't feel any temperature no more, you're no longer among the living.

I first saw in a documentary called "Psychedelic pioneers" by The History Channel. That picture is a GREAT EXAMPLE of how things can easily be misinterpreted at first glance. That picture makes it look like Leary, or someone else is proclaiming him as the reincarnation of Jesus Christ which is a HORRIBLE message especially to the followers of Jesus, of which I am sort of, but I’m not religious. I view Jesus as one of the great people of our history and have a lot of respect for Jesus, but Leary is in no way another Jesus. To make that parallel is very disrespectful I think. But that parallel is based on the misinterpretation of that sign. You may remember me as 69Ron. I was suspended years ago for selling bunk products under false pretenses. The lecture was called "The Reincarnation of Jesus Christ" not "Timothy Leary: The Reincarnation of Jesus Christ".

Now I see why Art calls me the "Psychedelic Jesus". He must have seen me wearing this at work. That, the long hair, and the robe I wear. I could see the misunderstanding there. 69ron attached the following image(s): 81428[1].jpg (133kb) downloaded 83 time(s).You may remember me as 69Ron.
