Humbling words. I guess that is what the Old Scripture really is pointing too when describing Adam's desire to be like a God. Still, there is some sense of joy after knowing you are part of it, is there not?

I think dmt answers with new questions. But sometimes that's what is needed.

Oh dear, the most interesting read I had in a while. Appreciate all the input. Actually heartwarming to read thru it all.
Might go off topic but bare with me. I worked quite intensely with people who acquired brain damage in adult years. One aspect that is quite interesting is the person’s inability to understand abstract or otherwise philosophical concept and ideas. Even though simple and presented in a 1,2,3 - A B C kind of way. They simply seem to lack the essential processing power to extract any information from such thoughts and ideas. I’ve had quite some attempts in elaborate simple notions of ideas in the philosophical hemisphere and the individuals (who been affected by brain damage) simply do not seems to be able to understand simple abstract thought and ideas – little yet alone extract any meaning.
As to regard to dmt (and other practices) that quite intensely give one self quite abstract visuals, messages and inputs. It seems as if (from my perspective) that we (or I) don’t have the sufficient processing power to extract any further information from its telling – other than my own perceived notion (what I think it should or could be).
The above is a problem for me. There’s more to the experience then meet the senses for sure. But one might argue that if the experience is real (whatever that means) we would one way or another experience the same thing.
We do (most of us anyway) experience the so called geometric patterns. We do (most of us) experience entities, aliens or otherwise spirits in our journeys. These two are – I guess true. They are verifiable – even though subjective – they been witnessed in Strassmans studies in the 90’s as well as thousands of times on the internet.
What these are however, we really cannot say. One might argue they are figures of your own imagination. Maybe they are transcendental beings from another dimensions. Regardless, it seems like we as people lack the essential processing power in our brains to comprehend and decode the information. Some notions might come thru. However, it seems to give a vague interpretation of the concept or idea altogether.
One might even argue that it’s all mumbo- jambo hippie Bullsh*t.
At the end of the day, we might not fully comprehend its mystery. It is as if presented a fragmented reality (real or not) accessible for anyone who participate in the experience.
I think, anonenium touched on a quite few profound and deep insights to the whole notion of what (or might not) lie behind this reality.
Dmt do give answers – But it also give more questions in regard to those answers. It is hard to put the puzzle together. And even if we do, we probably won’t be able to comprehend it anyway. We simply do not have (from my point of view) the brain (hardware capacity) to process all its variables into a encoded message of a comprehensive value of interpretation.
That’s my few cents, keep elaborating. I love this topic of discussion. It’s a great stimuli for the heart- brain and soul.
Best Regards

Answers denote the need to be right. If you do not cling to the need to be right or have definitive answers then you can detach and be free. Not knowing is a good thing. Admitting you do not know has so much power. Talk about what answers you think you have in life. Talk about them and break them down. Did you really have the answers or just perspective? Answers are not equal to truth. "In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which shamans call intent, and absolutely everything that exists in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link." ~Carlos Castaneda
