Phalaris is very hardy. If you look online hard enough you may find anecdotes about optimizing their alkaloid content- to date this is still a new science.
The batch we grew produced 5- methoxy DMT, which is great stuff but produces no visuals. If I'd known that ahead of time we probably would have tried a different strain. The aya I made from it was extremely potent, very challenging, had to chant the whole time to keep myself from exploding. Turned on the lights right after the peak... and not even a shimmer in terms of OEVs. No CEVs at all except for an "oxygen gauge" I threw together while I was chanting and trying to find the comfort zone of exactly the right amount of oxygen deprivation (like I said, it was a crazy trip). Definitely a steep uphill climb.
What I liked the Aquaticus for the most was simply rolling joints of it... Useless while straight, but on 300ug or more of LSD, a toke of this stuff gave you a blink of deep hyperspace, along with a sense of atemporal connectivity to all other DMT users, past present and future.
Anyway: Phalaris is great stuff, easy to grow, totally legal... And kind of unpredictable.
Thanks for sharing your experience.. A couple of notes.. As for optimizing the alkaloid content, its not just anecdotes, you can read the publication I posted above in post #12, there has been significant scientific research on this.
By the way, how do you know the batch you grew had mostly 5-MeO-DMT? Also, when making aya, did you do anything to make sure you removed potential toxic alkaloids?
