I'm skeptical when I hear such claims. First off, there are many different types of meditation. Which specific practice do you feel would benefit you?

Not even any specific one. Any simple meditation calms me down & assists me in being more relaxed throughout the day......when I actually make it a habit.

There is loads of different kinds of meditations.. But what part of what he said are you skeptical of exactly? Many of them can be greatly beneficial. Theres actually dozens, if not hundreds, of controlled studies that have been done on meditation at this point. Countless show physical and mental benefits of all sorts...especially stress/depression related. It can help with back-pain and psoriasis, along with several other things.

Theres also some showing 'mindfulness meditation' practiced a half hour a day noticeably increased the thickness of several parts of the brain in comparison to controls in just 8 weeks... and other studies showing similar brain changes Thumbs up

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"
