Visiting the San Diego Farmer's Market today.... and saw this Romanesco broccoli. Looked especially fractally next to some almost equally remarkable kale ... cell phone cameras are not too bad, no? (first pic).

Obviously someone's noticed Mandelbrot vegetables before, and I found a even more stunning pic of the same broccoli taken with a marco lens (second pic).
