First, let me thank you all for your support.

Second, I really don't like ad's on the forum but a few months ago I was already thinking about Google ads on the 'normal' site (in fact there are already pages for a refreshed site and don't worry, the front-page with the nice grafity-art will stay).

Third, as for the donations. I think I have a really good way to make donations without direct connections to the DMT-Nexus. When it's finished I'll let you all know.

Thats it, I have to start working now on the new part of the DMT-Nexus.

Kind regards,

The Traveler

Hey trav,

If you don't mind my asking, what are your plans for the new Nexus?
What kind of changes are you talking about? (you may have answered this already somewhere else, but I had trouble finding mention of what you have brewing in any past posts)

Also, I'd be down for donating to this forum too!!
The DMT Nexus is the only forum I read and participate in regularly, because it seems a lot of the other forums are overpopulated with teenagers looking for a new kick! Where as most of the posters here seem to be seriously exploring their consciousness and/or spirituality.
To each his own approach, but here at the Nexus, I don't see the pathetic, 3rd grade-ish, "internet fighting" thats hard to avoid at most other chemical related forums. I think that has to do with this group of people really trying to learn about themselves & consciousness in general, through sharing each other's like-minded experiences. Rather then just telling everybody how much drugs you put in your body!

Over at the ________ forum, its like a fucking contest. "I've been more shit faced than you have!", "No you haven't, you fucking blah, blah, blah, blah......" Then its name calling back & forth until the thread get dumped. Boring!!

You just don't see that here at the Nexus and thats wonderful!!

I'm not very interested in reading "trip reports" anymore, grew tired of those a while ago. I guess I've just read too many of them.
I like the DMT nexus because there is much more here than folks trying to explain the unexplainable.
There are more threads here about how these chemicals are effecting us and how each of us integrate & use our experiences in everyday life, than there are threads about those experiences.
I think thats wonderful too!!
And thats why I keep coming back!!

Don't get me wrong, I don't feel there is anything wrong with people reporting their experiences, I've just read way too many of them and I don't have the interest in the experience as much as I have interest in why we have these experiences, how we use them and where this is all going.
Keep reporting em, thats what usually peaks people's interest in the first place!!

Sorry I went on so long. (again)

Thanks again Traveler!!

Cheers!!

WS

i think the t-shirt idea is amazing. that and a donation link. I guess if there are perks, just a simple "donating member" could be added to the users profile page.
all of my posts are fictional. please interpret them as such.

It's pretty cheap to make t-shirts. With all the colors within the nexus art i'm thinking the best way would be to use a heat press as appose to silkscreen, although silkscreen feels more comfortable to wear.
the only issue might be the shipping costs there are so many people in different parts of the globe that we'd have to figure out the bottom line but i dont think it is very expensive at all (less than $5 dollars usd to make each shirt approximately + shipping).
someone else had the idea of nexus buttons (might be a good alternative)

The t-shirt idea kicks ass. Specially if there was some type of psychedelic related artwork. I would buy one or anything for sale here at the nexus.
