i know it has been a while since this post was created, but i would really need some help!
my fiance and i are getting married in 1 month (!) i know its insane.. we have been looking for locations etc for ever and it seems like we have everything but someone to actually perform the wedding.
We booked an amazing house in the middle of joshua tree desert. only invited about 10 people and we want it to be very special. my mother is a witch and my father practised shamanizm so those 2 are the only religions i apply in my life. the problem is that they both live in poland and we are here in los angeles so i dont know any right people here.
we are not tourists or some curious people seeking adventures and of course we dont want to disturb or disrespect anybody. altho there is nothing we would love more than have the marriage performed by someone spiritual and close to nature. where can we find such a person?
also after we get married me and my husband want to get in the car and take of for 2 nights for our sort of honeymoon. but really go and visit ideally a native american tribe who we could stay with, pray , perform initiations, do ayo or anything else they believe will help us become one in a beautiful way. if they are a real native american tribe / medicine man/ shamans etc. and we are just a couple of white people. so why would they want to do it? i dont know. perhaps to make this most amazing and real experience of my life. because thats the only reason why we want this.
so if anyone knows anybody i could contact that could help me at all please let me know! i know its all very last minute, but well.. there is still one month, and everything happens for a reason, so i believe this will happen too!
