Lazymans tek seems to create an above average amount of issues. Whether this is because it attracts people who want to be lazy or that it is not terribly efficient or both I don’t know.

I personally wouldn’t touch anything with lazy in its name with a bargepole.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

I used Noman's tek for my first extraction and followed the directions (with the updates) with great results. It was a fun, meditative experience. Boosted my self-confidence too. I know that may sound strange, but I am always really hard on myself and have been in a deep depression- I feel better now and have more faith in my abilities. Smile

How about the Poor Mans Tek? Think about petro chemicals and what sort of karma they have attatched to them, the history they carry with them, the life forms currently in peril because of them. Do you want your spice to be tied up with any of that garbage? I'm rather befuddled at how quiet the eco friendly tek section is--are the yields really that much lower, or the proccess that much slower, or what? I'll say it thrice--I have no experience and hence have been rather reluctant to pipe up on this matter, but there is a pink elephant in the room and I've been itching to comment on it.

No offense is intended at all--in my life I frequently make usage of petro and related nonsense. I am in the proccess of learning to live better, I could spend hours listing the changes I've made in my life, to minimalise negative impact on this earth--and the list of things that I'm still working on would be just as long. I'm not preaching! Let's just try and do things the cool way, make conscious descisions and such-like.

Or tell me why I am wrong.

I don't feel guilty because I balance it out by recycling and buying organic.Cool
