I am sorry to hear some are going thru tough times. This path some of us have chosen is not a easy one. There will be much confusion and suffering along the road and the road will take decades to reach the real destination.

Hyperspace is not the destination but simply a chaotic place full of illusion that will test your resolve in the most personal ways. I will not debate if hyperspace is a real place or a product of a biological organ ie the brain.

But I will tell you this there is a place were nothing exists. No sound, no light, no thoughts, no perception of any kind. And it is the ultimate goal for my self at least. It is a wonderful place it sounds scary but it is pure. Just ask any REAL Zen master or advanced yogi they will not say it is so but you will feel there answer in a way I can not describe.

I have been to this place briefly on six occasions and it was complete bliss. Not from DMT but from fasting, sleep deprivation and my mushroom allies. I have been on the path for twenty years now and DMT has been a part of it for sixteen years.

I do not believe in aliens or entities the only thing I can be sure of is the wise old statement "I think there for I am" My mind is all I have and is all I will ever need.

As another wise posted wrote there is no turning back these lessons are with you forever. Once Pandora's Box is opened its to late to reconsider your actions. So ask your self do you really want to know? No pun intended to my wise friend and fellow Nexus member PandoraSmile

As you progress you will begin to see all you once believed in begin to slip away. Just as you identity or ego begins to dissolve never to return even if you will it to be its to late.

Again I must stress I do not believe in supernatural occurrences they are in my opinion just distractions of the ego in its feeble attempt to stay alive. I believe in the power of the mind to achieve serenity. No external information can help me quite my mind and silence my thoughts this is my work and my work alone. And if I am ever able to achieve this and quite my mind of all external thoughts and sensory input I will have reached my goal.

Of course this is just my personal mythology and is not open to debate. I am simply telling you how I feel and my take on things. I am done debating esoteric vs science its a waste of my time since it can not be proven one way or another. Yet I will be happy to enjoy my plate of crow when the aliens arrive in 2012. Yes I stole that quote from Dennis M as he stated this about his late brothers timewave theroy was speculation by a wise man on hallucinogenic drugs. Go ahead and spend some time in the jungle drinking a aya/mushroom combo on a daily basis your bound to generate some unique idealsSmile No doubt both Terrance and Dennis has balls of steel. Most would have lost there mind after 3or4 days. But Terrance had his pad of graph paper and recorded it all. What a adventure I can not even fathom it.

I will recommend this excellent book written by a regular guy who decided to under take a path to enlightenment. It is a easy honest read with very high quality black and white photos that illustrate the intention of his words. For me the book was inspiring in its simplicity and truth and I will admit my eyes welled up with liquid and I was profoundly touched by its honesty and humility.

Remember this process takes decades of dedication a few years mean nothing. There are no shortcuts on the path to the ultimate understanding.

Peace Friends

That sums it up quite well.

I'd say that DMT will not turn you into a nuthead if you use it properly.

Wich means that you'll use it as an instrument for spiritual or psychological exploration (wich can also mean the exploration of feelings such as joy).

You are supposed to live a meaningfull life, so you´l have to find something that gives meaning. There are many things that can do this.

DMT can act as a catalyst for finding meaning, but cannot give meaning by itself. Using it as if it is meaningfull in itself is a slippery way that might lead towards abuse if it isn´t abuse that way already.

i think psychedelics do not help making sense of life...
life just does not make sense, i rather think we should just experience life as it is. entheogens give us the possibility to experience life from different perspectives, which can be fucking hard at times.
Our need to explain everything is a double edged sword IMHO
