That is so awesome. I want a DMT trip like that. They look so fun! My trips are usually alien and buggy. Some times like a demented circus of eyeballs. I really like that blue skull. And the dinosaur skull is really well done, too! Be an adult only when necessary.

Art-Thanks man I find it really hard at times to put hyperspace into perspective. It's almost two dimensional and infinite at the same time. Peabody-It wasn't all that fun! lol Whenever my journeys take on a carnival like feel they are a wild ride. I get a kick out of every time though Love the mystery of it all. I've seen these long limbed jesters before and they are always screwing with me and laughing at me. haha I live in Aruba with Elvis and Makaveli. That's great, I like how you captured the irrationality of the experience (for example, how the tunnel and the torus inhabit the same space). A lot of people experience toroidal spaces- I sometimes wonder if that has something to do with how our brains are wired.
My inner spaces are often square or rectangular, sometimes cathedral shaped, occasionally round, but no toroids yet. My wife got one once, with a rotating DNA thing in the middle.
I think it's great that you tried to articulate the experience directly like this... Would be great to see more artists making the attempt.

Thanks Guy! I find it so hard to draw those seemingly impossible spaces on paper. Makes my brain hurt. It keeps telling me "No! That's not the way you do it! It can't be like that!" Oh, silly brain, oh yes it can. I love trying to depict what I see, sometimes there is so much it's just system overload and I cant even begin to remember 10% of what goes on. I love all of those, but that last drawing scares me a little. I don't think I've ever seen anyone bring out certain characteristics of hyperspace as much.. The head and armor on that laser guy with the tracers, and the proportions of the jesters. I can't put my finger on what it is exactly but that invokes a very very familiar feeling in me. Please don't ever stop making art. And I know what you mean about it being 2D and infinite simultaneously, sometimes it feels like everything, even you, is stuck on a 2D egyptian wall, but it's not a normal kind of 2D it's like a slice among infinite layers, which surprisingly doesn't make it 3D but something else entirely. God these things are hard to grasp our tiny heads.. But I can tell you , you have done a great job sir.

These are so cool! I love how they keep getting more complex... Easy to imagine an animated morph between them. The in-progress one is totally nuts.
CosmicLearning, I live this last one- it tastes like hyperspace! Keep 'em coming till your beard grows long!

thank you Guyomech. It actually is a series dedicated to "impossible geometry evolution", the last one will be filled with geometric patterns and very few black ink. i'll post for sure the complete collection in the correct order when it's finished, i planned an expo in january. about the animation, uhm, maybe when its finished i will try to do something with after effects. @CosmicLearning I just LOVE your style and the red pencil. Cosmiclearning, for someone who has been painting for such a short time, your skills are disproportionately good! Blotto, those are very nice, very elegant and clean yet pleasingly messy at the same time. They would make really decent magazine covers. Art Van D'lay wrote:Smoalk. It. And. See.
