Ive been away for a bit, but the new look here is just amazing. Simply inspiring work guys!! The universe is an infinite harmony of vibrating beings in an elaborate range of expansion-contraction ratios, frequency modulations, and so forth.

Wow. Nice Guyomech. A lot of those colours are very familiar, particularly that hue of green and the yellow gilding... I now have a few favourites and this is certainly one of them! i wish I had more computer talent (not too shabby with a set of good pencils and some nice fiber paper, but no graphic skills...) I guess I will "create" vicariously through all of you! Cheers, JBArk JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.

Guyomech, WOW!! Thats definitely familiar! Listen to a man of experience: thou wilt learn more in the woods than in books. Trees and stones will teach thee more than thou canst acquire from the mouth of a master. St. Bernard

Thanks everyone! This tiling was inspired by a room I went to once on about 20mg... It started simple, and the patterning complexified as the trip progressed and my view of the room panned upward. Centered in the ceiling was a very hard to look at singularity point where all contradictions came together... I was under the impression that a slightly higher dose would have provided access to more of the code within that singularity. All the detail in the room tiling was representative of things happening within my mind and self at that moment- what Terence referred to as "the wiring under the board".
I used an obsolete 3D program called Bryce to do this. You can import grayscale bitmaps which it will read as height mapping (black=lowest, white=highest, shades of gray represent full range of height) so the tile patterns started as very carefully crafted grayscale maps. Each tile got a second overlapping map to create the contrasting patterns. I did the final banner using a full rainbow spectrum, but I agree that the green/gold combo is especially familiar. Another one I see often is blue/orange.
I'f you go to Enigmaticus you'll find two YouTube links I posted with animated versions of this tiling. I'd copy/paste the links if I weren't posting this from the Lowes parking lot.

really cool patterns Guyomech! I like how they evolve. It's almost like a step by step manual showing evolution of pattern. Interesting for sure. And the color scheme is really familiar

I really like all the work done here with theses pictures and i'd like to make a frieze in my bedroom with all theses banners but without the dmt-nexus slogan repeated in all of them...would it be possible to have these banneres without the slogan ?

Here's mine (and with a couple of different texture variations to choose from - the 1st has none, the 2nd is a very light sandstone, and the 3rd is meant to look like it was projected on a brick wall. I've been diggin' on the sandstone as of late. It seems to really help in seamlessly blending the elements together): Bill Cipher attached the following image(s): Banner1c.jpg (537kb) downloaded 336 time(s).
