This is great for entheogenic liberty, and for some restoration. Some quality info in this recent VICE video.. http://www.vice.com/en_c...deo/the-dark-grey-market'What's going to happen?' 'Something wonderful.'

So wait, what huh? Y'all ended prohibition or just opened the discussion? Either way, way to go, it would be great to see that happen across an entire nation like Canada. We have taken some steps down south, in OR (go!) CA & WA, but our Feds infuriatingly lag behind their constituency in ending recreational marijuana and medical cannabis prohibition. One step at a time, they JUST legalized being gay here. Go canada, show us how it's done! Sine experientia nihil sufficienter sciri potest -Roger Bacon *γνῶθι σεαυτόν*

I will believe Justin when I see it... If he does not at least abolish bill C-51 and legalize cannabis than he's the same as the rest. What about the recent scheduling of salvia divinorum? The liberals opposed it..will they re-legalize the herb? I want more than the liberals offer. I want the 30-35 hour work week, I want $15 min wage for everyone(okay okay, it's provincial I know)... Long live the unwoke.

I'm willing to bet that nothing is done to reverse the decision. I'm actually more concerned with this than Cannabis; both will most likely remain illegal.

For those doubters out there, a headline from a while back: "Justin Trudeau says he smoked marijuana, makes no apologies" http://globalnews.ca/new...ays-he-smoked-marijuana/This is Canada's prime minister now

Our new prime minister is known to be very pro-cannabis, and has said that he'd want to legalize it. And he can do this for the entire country without having to listen to the opposition

I am pretty certain cannabis will be legal very quickly. Salvia Divinorum, on the other hand, I can't imagine being high on the list of priorities for the liberal government. Long live the unwoke.

I had no idea salvia was scheduled in Canada. im not really surprised though. I'd say the YouTube videos were probably 90% responsible for the ultimate ban of this substance. Almost makes you wish you saw this coming and stocked up before the ban. Oh well, too late now. Yesterday, upon the stair, I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today, I wish, I wish he'd go away.

Congratulations Canada. It would be great if Canada and the United States could end cannabis prohibition at the Federal level the same year as each other. There would be much to celebrate. Let us declare nature to be legitimate. All plants should be declared legal, and all animals for that matter. The notion of illegal plants and animals is obnoxious and ridiculous. — Terence McKenna

You may be right. Cannabis is certainly a hell of a lot more popular than Salvia Well, as long as they don't come for me or my Salvia plants, I have no real issue. Almost makes you wish you saw this coming and stocked up before the ban. Oh well, too late now. I am fairly certain the ban on Salvia will go into effect in February 2016. So there is still some time to stock up, or even better get some cuttings and begin a garden of your own The youtube videos were definitely a huge contributing factor. But the fact that these were sold in many convenience stores across the country probably forced politicians to respond. I wonder if it will be legal to grow your own plants? I wouldn't mind keeping one or two if it was legal. As for salvia, from what I've heard, it sounds like its very difficult to keep the plants alive. Yesterday, upon the stair, I met a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today, I wish, I wish he'd go away.

After doing more research about the legality of Salvia, I read something strange. Even after the ban, dried leaf and extracts will be legal to possess, but you won't be able to grow your own plants. Now back on topic, here's an article from Reset.me about the future of Cannabis in Canada. New Canadian Prime Minster Promises To Legalize Marijuana
