Hey Nexians, something was looking at the mushroom forum and said "something's missing... Moar grow logs!" So something was done about it. PF tek, MS. PES Hawaiian. Day 1 of colonization (inoc. This morning). 8x250ml widemouth jars (fingers crossed, lost 7 a month ago, dirty print suspected). nemesauce attached the following image(s): IMG_20150522_143026300.jpg (1,314kb) downloaded 285 time(s). Good luck with it!! "A troop of elves smashes down your front door and rotates and balances the wheels on the after death vehicle, present you with the bill and then depart. And it's completely paradigm shattering. I mean, ya know, union with the white light you could handle. An invasion of your apartment by jeweled self dribbling basketballs from hyperspace that are speaking in demonic Greek is NOT something that you anticipated and could handle!' -T.M. Thanks Spaced out, I also have a few different cube sub-strains to try out next time, I'm thinking a Cambodian v-tek/bulk hybrid or maybe just one or the other... But thats jumping the shark a bit.

so far so good. I look forward to your updates on this project. Good luck! "science never proves anything; you can never duplicate an event precisely at the same moment in time as the initial event. science can only show correlation from the evidence and data derived from it." -benzyme

Nice work, you make it look easy. Best of luck with your grow! What are you going to do with the cakes once they colonize? Bulk? Are you going to put them in a fruiting chamber? Insert a profound and life-altering statement here for others to read.

Mycology is an awesome subject to study, and not only is it rewarding, but it is quite simple as long as you have the basics down. I'm still a rookie, but thanks for the props cruet These ones I'll just put in a shotgun fruiting chamber, this method gives me what I need and is very sustainable, it also gives me an opportunity to to take spore prints readily... but I'm looking at trying different techniques soon. Cakes are for the most part, hassle free. Cleanliness is your friend. Btw, thanks for the reminder, today seems like a good day for an update!

Very nice, indeed! Growing mushrooms is such a rewarding experience, IMHO! It takes immense patience but the payoff is well deserved! Good luck to you on the rest of your grow! New to The Nexus? Check These Out: One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish

Oh yeah, won't be long now. That is great rhizo growth. Do we need to get permission from a mod to post a grow log or technique? Insert a profound and life-altering statement here for others to read.

I haven't yet but I only make logs about growing stuff. I do believe that you need approval to make treads about nootropics and novel psychoactives as part of the nexus harm prevention/reduction policy. The best answer to that question would would probably come from a moderator.
