Hey Nexians, something was looking at the mushroom forum and said "something's missing... Moar grow logs!" So something was done about it.

Good luck with it!!

Thanks guys, I hope for good luck this time too, I'm not letting last time be to much of a discouragement... Learned a few good lessons, one of them being patience.

I hope the myco god/dess smiles upon us allSmile

Thanks Spaced out, I also have a few different cube sub-strains to try out next time, I'm thinking a Cambodian v-tek/bulk hybrid or maybe just one or the other... But thats jumping the shark a bit.

Nice work, you make it look easy. Best of luck with your grow!

What are you going to do with the cakes once they colonize? Bulk? Are you going to put them in a fruiting chamber?

Mycology is an awesome subject to study, and not only is it rewarding, but it is quite simple as long as you have the basics down.

I'm still a rookie, but thanks for the props cruetVery happy

These ones I'll just put in a shotgun fruiting chamber, this method gives me what I need and is very sustainable, it also gives me an opportunity to to take spore prints readily... but I'm looking at trying different techniques soon.

Cakes are for the most part, hassle free. Cleanliness is your friend.

Btw, thanks for the reminder, today seems like a good day for an update!

Very nice, indeed! Growing mushrooms is such a rewarding experience, IMHO! It takes immense patience but the payoff is well deserved!

Good luck to you on the rest of your grow!

Update.

Day 16:
Around 75% visible colonization, mycelium is getting nice and ropey.

I'm getting stoked!

Oh yeah, won't be long now. That is great rhizo growth.

Do we need to get permission from a mod to post a grow log or technique?

I haven't yet but I only make logs about growing stuff. I do believe that you need approval to make treads about nootropics and novel psychoactives as part of the nexus harm prevention/reduction policy.

The best answer to that question would would probably come from a moderator.
