can r mix 30g san pedro powder with peanut butter or nuttela or even honey? and just rub it onto bread and eat it?

this powder is too bitter for me, ive made chocolate with resin, but it made me throwup, and i was barely able to drink 15g in icecream. i need something to mask the taste and texture, so would peanut butter or nutella work?

You really want to minimize any caloric intake with cacti. Put it in gelcaps, or some people will mix it with a little water to form little balls to swallow. Or you can mix it with a little water and quickly down it.

This is how a Huichol shaman works: pour powder dry in mouth, sip some apple juice and down it. No mixing in advance.

Usually cooks it down to a resin, sprinkle in a bit of flour if too sticky.
Then roll into lots of little balls, line them up, pour a large glass of water.
Psyche myself up.
Then begin swallowing, all the while trying to avoid any contact with my tongue.

Or as nicechrisman recommends, stuff resin into gel caps.

^^^ That or just extract it. Pure extractions minimize any chances of nausea but obviously takes more prep work than just consuming powder or resin.

you're not likely to get much from 30g. I wouldn't think it's worth your time, but then I've never done an extraction

Sure, starting from powder, 69Ron's Dry tek. French coffee press is a must.

Starting from whole cacti, house's resin chunk method, then the reduced resin tea basified, nonpolar pulls, acid pull, evap, clean.

These are the two easiest most effective means of extracting in SWIM's experience.

thanks kash, i have the tools and materials for both dry and fresh. i'm excited to get your experience here since i've only reduced and made either tea or resin balls from cactus unlike dmt extraction. I have quite weak peruvian torch powder i want to extract from. i'm excited!

Sure thats enough to extract, you can really use any amount. The question is how much mesc you will get from the powder.. If that powder has atleast 1% content then getting 300mg would easily be enough for a decent experience.

well i'm happy that i got something, but it sure wasn't much. i knew this peru torch powder was weak but i only got 80 mg. of waxy orange/white powder from two pulls using the 69ron non toxic tek. on 100 grams of dry powder. Could it be that week? or am i not getting all the goodies? btw i ate all 80mg and i'm waiting to see

Good luck. 80mg of even pure Mescaline will not do much.

i just did the oil/vinegar tek on 30g of san pedro powder. i only got 80mg of mescaline acetate.. not too happy about it

Its rare to find quality powder these days unless you make it yourself or are ordering from from South America, I would recommend doing one of those. SWIM gave up on US domestic powder after many many disappointments with dishonest vendors. SWIM has some pachanoi powder from Peru that consistantly yeilds around 1% now.

tried 100 grams of stronger peru torch chips i ground down to powder. used 69ron non toxic tek and got my first clean crystals! only 50mg on the first 30ml pull but it's clean

^ a route many of us have used over the years- but i'm not confident the material is harvested in ethical/sustainable methods (wild harvest is bad IMHO)

highly suggest growing your own! very satisfying-cheaper-etc

after a couple of years of growing-sowing-trading i have a sustainable garden that could yield 100's of times more mescaline than i'd ever use


OP- hope it works out for you. i've never done it the way you are- i typically get 40-60 percent of the full yield in the first pull

i'm happy, i'm now getting 100mg pulls per 30ml, dg i'm growing but it's slow. my supplier says it's sustainably harvested... is that just to keep the buyer guilt free but it really isn't? I can't wait till my cactus is a forest!
